I've been painting at home today listening to old Blue Rodeo in the background. Took a break to see what's new. Thank you so much Jim for all the music you've shared with me. I remember a show you played in London maybe 30 years ago. You guys were loading your gear in the back of a station wagon driving home to Toronto. Throughout the years, it feels like important life events always seem to relate to a Blue Rodeo song, so when I hear your music, memories come flooding back along with the joy of hearing something so loved. I was able to take my husband to both your last Blue Rodeo and solo concerts in Winnipeg at the Burton Cummings Theatre, and he developed a new appreciation for you as well! Your voice is still so beautiful, I always say it should be considered a Canadian treasure! I’m sorry to gush, but it’s the most wonderful opportunity to connect with one of your music heroes! I’ve worked in radio for most of my life until recently, and I know how much you are respected in the industry and by fans.
