Beautiful place to do some paddling, what types of large fish are found in that creek?

Murray Cod and European Carp. The cod can get huge, over 200 pound.

@@MountainSportAirguns I don't think they are caught much, but I've seen the photos - very impressive. No-one eats them at this size though, they are too fatty.

Too me Australia is a place I always wanted to visit mainly the beaches but the outback too I’m from Texas, I was curious mainly about like wildlife and survival issues which would be harder to survive in the Australia outback or Texas country side? Also love the channel

Thanks, and good question. I don't know much about Texas (I've never been to the Northern hemisphere) but I know it gets hot and dry there too. There are large areas in Australia that are mostly cool and beautifully green all year round - so they are no comparison. My area is cold in winter (frosty and down to -3'C) and hot (up to 47'C) in summer and about a 15-16 inch rainfall. There are lots of Australian brush tail possums around here and that is what the Aborigines lived off mainly before white settlement. The possums were easy to catch. The further from the coast you get the harder it is to live off the land (even for modern farming). I once knew an aborigine who left living a bushman's life because he was the last surviving person in his family due to a drought in the desert and was starving to death himself. So it's not all beer and skittles living off a dry countryside - Warwick

@@wozzasboomerang yeah northern Texas does get hit the one good thing about my area is Texas has a lot of cactus like prickly pear which can give fluid if needed I myself am not familiar with Australian plants but Texas wild food is pretty easy to identify and our winters do get a lot less cold normal for us is at the least 10 which is the lowest I have seen myself I guess it depends on the plan of survival if you plan on sticking to mostly plants and sticking to shelter I’d rather have Texas while Australia is better for a more nomadic hunting style so yeah I guess it is a bit hard to tell which would be easier to survive
