River Mpanga pollution raises water purification costs 

The ongoing pollution of the environment has not spared River Mpanga in Kabarole. The river in Western Uganda serves over five districts, but the quality of its water has been compromised. This pollution has also increased the cost of water purification for the National Water and Sewerage Corporation. In the following report, we examine the impact of this pollution on water quality and production in the district.
