Who remembers when it last rained? I don't, but still hadn't edited a video from when it did so I hope you enjoy! A little bit of river fishing for Barbel and Chub. River fishing for barbel and chub can be incredibly effective in flood conditions and many anglers are put off by the conditions. Fishing in flood conditions is also great fun and pretty simple. Mainly because you're usually in the undergrowth doing anything to hold in the current!
It helps when there are a few barbel about though and when you're fishing on the gorgeous River Ribble! Tight lines folks keep fishing.

Now then Bonny lad and another belter of a video and back doing some freshwater dabbling !!!! My old man never fails to catch an eel everytime he goes barbel fishing and with the river coming up ya just knew it was gunna happen 😬😬😬. God I hate unhooking them slimey sods !! No easy way … well I’ve never found one 🙄🙄🙄…. Loving the meat / corn combo an done that myself on many occasion ( when I use to barbel fish that is ). …. Lovely river that looks and never fished the ribble …. Added to the list of “ must do’s “ ☑️ 👍🏽…. Well done on your catch and ya can’t beat a nibble on the ribble 😆🙄😁🤣🎣

Well done Harry laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddddddddddddddd always great to catch a Barbel, coincidently I had an Eel and a Barbel at my local club pond a fortnight ago😄 but I also had a bucketload of Carp and Roach so I was well chuffed. 30 years ago ,you could catch 100+eels on the Ribble in the summer if you fished a maggot feeder ..I remember a guy winning a club match with 25lb of bootlaces..(they were a menace) There were no barbel then!! 😊
