Hope you get better soon Shane. Give the faster shallows a go on the Wharfe with sweetcorn on the stick float. Lots of the chub and barbel will still be there even after they spawned.
Easedyke is one of the best places in Yorkshire to fish IMHO. But it is not easy, seriously challenging. If you fish the wrong peg you are wasting your time.
You're not your own, i,ve been 7 times this season and had 5 blanks and only 1 barbel the other twice. Othes i talk to are struggling, not sure if it's late spawning, or the pollution factor but the rivers certainly seem to be on a rapid decline.
Hi Shane, is it safe to park there where you are ? I usually fish Boston & Tadcaster when I travel to the Wharfe. been looking for somewhere suitable for Newton parking wise. Thanks a lot
@@smoggyangler Thank you for the reply, I only ask as when searching a Facebook group for the Wharfe a few anglers mentioned car break-ins in regards Newton area. Looked safe enough in front of them buildings though. I suppose they would have CCTV around to deter any nuisances
