Look at how different the characters are too Season 1 veronica is a completely different veronica to the one we have now Season 4 wasnt that bad, the mystery was actually interesting and enjoyable but the characters and story are so destroyed before repair
hahaha trueee, i stopped watching it, cause it's not worth my time.. i just wish riverdale continued beeing as good as season 1 and 2, after that it just got worse and worse.. :(
I can't with Riverdale, it's so cringe and yet, if I'm bored enough I'll watch just to get annoyed by it. The current season started with so much potential and already got riverdaled...
watching this actually makes me sad because this show was so freaking good in the beginning and had so much potential. it really goes downhill after season one.
I like to watch the first season, then smile as I watch the last episode fade to black and tell myself “well that was a good, clean, satisfying ending :)” because otherwise I just get real sad
Dylan: Is this like... scary? Me: after 5 seasons of that, the only thing that's scary is the fact that someone wrote every character saying things like "we're endgame" and thought it was a decent script💀💀💀
basically everyone in this comment section wants to tell him. So much people want to break his enthusiams. Thoug I don't blame them. I stopped after season 2 and it seems like a good decision.
Watching this reminded me of how much i loved season 1 and how heartbroken i was when the show went off the rails, crashed, exploded and now keeps dragging its mangled body around. Rip
My opinion on the show throughout the seasons: Season 1: Amazing! Season 2: Good (ish) but slightly confusing Season 3: What is even happening Season 4: Stop. Now. Season 5: BURN THE PHONE
Fun fact: Archie is supposed to be 15 in the pilot which means that they’re all supposed to be sophomores. Keep that in mind for the rest of the season
oh, he's going to be into it... "her dark side." especially since she has had an actual line like this: "im going to have to punish you." in a black wig, black lacy lingerie and a whip? but i havent seen anything newer than that so. shit, if she gets weirder, i don't- smdh
And then a Scooby Doo plot twist........ Betty and Jughead know exactly who, what, when, where, why and how and turns out nothing is supernatural......
Tegan Riley Season 2 is not that good but it’s watchable. So I pretend that the show stopped at Season 2, but also that some scenes don’t exist (Betty stripping) for example
I’m still in love with Riverdale despite how it’s changed a bit. I’m actually glad that Dylan made this video because I’ve been wanting to re-watch Riverdale since I finished it on Netflix, and I’m really proud of all of the character DEVELOPMENT throughout the show🥺
@@saturn5176 yes the southside serpents and let's not forget in season 2 when Archie and Veronica basically joined Veronica's father mafia and when Betty stripped in front of a bunch of adults to join the serpents
I literally just put a comment up about this whole thing, and how both Jones men and Cooper women were sleeping together while Jellybean was sleeping in the same house across the hall from Jughead and Betty.
Veronica and archie dated, so did their parents. Betty and Jughead dated, so did their parents, They even have a shared kid. Damn I never thought about it in that way, thats kinda messed up.
Veronica: Sorry Cheryl Bombshell, my specialty’s ice. Dylan: I like that closing line. WE ALL LIKE THAT CLOSING LINE. ITS THE MOST ICONIC LINE IN RIVERDALE HISTORY!!
The thing with Riverdale is that the 1st season was absolute genius with its mystery and plot twists. But the 2nd season starts becoming sloppy and so unrealistic (ik overall the plot is unrealistic but so much happens that you can't help but cringe), probably because they were trying to top the 1st season but it was so successful that it's virtually impossible. And from what I've heard, the 3rd season's even worse. Tbh they should've just left it at the 1st season.
I think the lesson here is that it is better to have a short, strong story than to have a long, incoherent one. Too often, a great story is killed by the desire to draw it out, for money, or viewers, or even the writer. Just let it conclude where the ending feels natural!
I love how all the comments here are "he only watches season 1". Everybody assumes he can only like it because he doesn't know what happened next. And this is so true.
