Riverdale is a murder mystery who is mainly about the real world, just from that it's pretty clear that trying to do a multiverse is literally impossible.

Just a fun fact to share, Tabitha Tate's actress is a Harvard graduate Kevin's is a Carnegie Melon graduate and Veronica and Jughead are NYU graduates. I find it hilarious that the dumbest show on television probably has some of the smartest, most educated actors at least on the CW. Source: the TV special where the actors guess stuff about their costars.

Erinn Westbrook (Tabitha) also went to a fancy prep school for middle and high school. Also she was a legacy. She was the tenth person in her family to go to Harvard. Which helps when applying to an Ivy league school. It's all who you know. Even though she would have to be quite smart to into Harvard. They only accept five percent of their applicants.

reminiscing over old writing is truly an emotional journey. that said, i would gladly take the others before the riverdale writers somehow find them and mash it up with an assortment of my immortal spoofs and self-insert adventures in being kidnapped by a band. demigod wizard spies do sound totally up the cw's alleyway i think the cringest fanfiction i've written was a harry potter / artemis fowl / semi-heroes-of-olympus crossover featuring mary sues, incredibly incompetent school staff, and 16-year-olds murdering people left and right. never posted it but an old copy might be somewhere in my usb pile so if you want to read that mess... actually you could just watch riverdale for all that, but i can't even tell what age these people are supposed to be anymore. and besides, who would watch riverdale when you have alex breaking it down and also actually breaking down?

Cheryl's entire storyline in Rivervale did not make sense. Apparently, she's a witch like Sabrina, but also, she's a pagan that does human sacrafices, and I'm pretty sure, last time, Sabrina had to fight an entire circus of pagans who did human sacrafices.

The thing is "jump the shark" doesn't even apply to Riverdale anymore, it jumped the shark a LONG time ago and never stopped jumping, its jumped out the window, over a floating baby, over a narwhal, like we need a new term for what this show has done because "jump the shark" doesn't even begin to cover what this has become. Its almost impressive that the writers keep giving these characters new things to do

Riverdale is a CW show while Sabrina belongs to Netflix. The CW doesn’t cancel shows over the 1st season and lets them end whenever they want

Might just be me who finds this idea amusing. But what if for the mini series they got Dylan Sprouse to play the alternate Jughead? They do the "previously unknown family member" trope so often so imagine of they got Cole's actual twin to play the parallel suited, all knowing jughead for this to poke fun at that.

Even the actors of this show can’t stand it. They’re all depressed and unhappy 😂 like does anyone ever watch any of Madeleine’s vlogs? She looks absolutely miserable. And Cole and Lilie have basically admitted in countless interviews they hate the show. Please when will this end so it can release these poor actors??? 🥴

And they wouldn't have needed to write fanfiction if they wanted to be weird. Archie has a whole cartoon series called Archie's Weird Mysteries that came out in 1999 where the characters had to battle against killer potatoes, evil genius rats, aliens, vampires, genies, giant bugs, sea monsters, etc. They could have just made Riverdale a live action Archie's Weird Mysteries.
