He actually showcased quite a lot in exo concerts actually. It's just he didn't get as much line as other lead vocalists. But screen time wise, and solos, he got plenty. Especially more than Sehun and Kai.

@@notmyname3556 His solos are self managed, by his team in China. It has nothing or little to do with SM. They probably just sit back and take their share of the money made from those releases without doing much. And what do you mean he has a lot of screen time? Ever since debut, he's barely had lines + screen time. They always showcased Kai as the center/main dancer, rarely does Lay get the same spotlight as a dancer. Lay briefly got more lines in their 2015 releases because Luhan had left the group, so they had him fill in and cover parts that were probably originally planned for Luhan. But notice how in 2016, it reverted back. Once again, he barely got lines. Even Kai started getting more lines than he did. May I remind everyone that Kai debuted as a rapper in EXO. Yet Kai, a rapper, got to showcase his vocals and ended up with more parts than Lay, an actual vocalist. How ridiculous. Then Lay was excluded in 2017 releases because of "conflicting" schedules. Some ppl says its because of China's ban on Korean wave, yet other Chinese kpop idols were active without an issue. In 2018, SM was like "Lay's gonna be participating" but they basically only had him be a guest cameo in Tempo, and only in the chinese ver. Literally thats it. He wasn't even on b sides. Its is now 2019, they're coming back soon and once again, no signs of Lay, just like in 2017.

@@KpopLover4Ever dude, I was talking about his parts in exo concert tour. Where did I mention anything about his solo albums?? You know EXO got exom back then aren't you? And he's the lead vocalist. Which part of that shows that he didn't get line. He got more lines in chinese ver. And first and foremost he's the main dancer of exom which unlike korea, china has no music shows. His only time to shine was their showcases and concert tours. If you didn't notice Kai and Sehun almost had no lines in the first 2-3 years of exo debut. Kris & Tao? Sadder prolly. So I don't even want to argue about their line distribution back then. Most of 2016 tours barely use chinese ver songs because THAAD issue, and his busy-ness himself, he barely could participate exo as a whole. And THAAD is still haunting him until now, and he's extremely busy. As much as SM is shitty, they won't risk him jeopardising his nationality just for exo. And SM already announced that he would only join Tempo before the cb released. Were you even listening? You were loud about Kai being the center, but have you ever seen him doing anything outside of exo? Solo singles? Solo album? sm stations? collabs? None of that. So don't drag others in this argument like that. Many other members aren't as fortunate as the other.
