In this episode of the Riverside City College School of Business Show, Dr. Ajene Wilcoxson interviews his co-host Justin as he talks about becoming a young entrepreneur. Justin Hudson, associate professor of business at Riverside City College, shares his experience as an entrepreneur and how he balances it with his teaching role. Hudson grew up in Riverside, California, and attended Martin Luther King High School before obtaining his bachelor's and master's degrees in communications from California State University, Los Angeles, and Azusa Pacific University, respectively. Hudson's business ventures began in high school, where he started a CD and clothing business. He later interned at BET and started a clothing brand called One Love IE, which has since expanded to three retail locations and recently partnered with Yamama Casino. Hudson emphasizes the importance of mental health and recommends taking 10 minutes a day to do breathing exercises. He also credits his uncle for teaching him to enjoy life, regardless of wealth or status.
