Thanks guys, enjoyed the video. Would it be possible to have you guys summarize the trip at the end of the video (miles driven, approximate load, charge times, etc)? I realize you did the charge time, but I love as much data as possible. Thanks again!

Sorry about not providing as much as we use to. We have had priorities in our non YT life and have farmed out the editing so in return those stats have been put on the back burner. We will try and come up with an efficient way to incorporate that. We appreciate following along. Thanks

No, cause at every Tesla supercharger they will have to unhitch and hitch everytime.

@@Dannyar10 Using a Tesla station and their great uptime. I think 5 minutes to unhook and park is a lot more efficient than 1.5 hours at a ChargePoint. Plus with CT out they are adding drive thru stalls.

@@jbordinhao will be years before they have drive thru stalls at every location and there's no promise that those won't be taken up and left open for people towing.

We have a Mustang Mach-E and live in the LA area, regarding your comment on the power costs, with LADWP I pay .19 to .22 cents /kwh The DCFC in the area range from .30 - .48 cents/kW Living vicariously through your Rivian ownership until I can have my own. Still on the fence about using an R1T to tow however. I have a 21ft box trailer, loaded with the racecar, it tips the scales around 10k. I tow it with my old Classic 1997 F250 diesel.

I can tell you from towing my 30 ft airstream at 55 mph on a 80 mph interstate is DANGEROUS.. where were you going from where and how long did this trip take.. to winterize you can just open the low point drains under the unit, open all faucets, open and drain WH and be good to go.. thats all I was doing in winter in NC.. thanks..

Sounds like a ‘fun’ trip home 😂. We’re headed out to Arizona next weekend for another long towing trip with the R1T. We expect the coldest temperatures we’ve yet towed in, likely strong winds, elevation changes and increased drag with our new larger profile Airstream. Probably more range anxiety than any trips we’ve taken thus far (and maybe not the smartest idea we’ve had) but we’re all in so will see how it goes!

Thanks for all your informative videos'. I have owned three all electric for years now. Your last video has pushed me to trade in my F150 Lighting for a 2023 end of year Hybrid F150 Limited. I do feel like a trader going back to a gas engine but I have a planed trip from Maryland to Florida in February and to stay in Florida for a month. The available working/ non working chargers for my trip is more stress than I want to tackle. This last video having to wait for a charger and previous video's of slow and broken chargers have pushed me over the edge. I thought after Tesla opened its chargers to Ford that would be a big help with charging but I understand not all Tesla chargers are going to be able to accept other EV's. Hopefully things will change sooner than later so I can return to a EV.

It isn't for everyone now and not sure it ever will be, It's hard to know what Tesla will do so we don't count on that yet for any future trip planning. Appreciate the comment.

Are you going to bring back the road trip drive stats between charging stops? You used to have a nice list of all the stats on the left side of the screen, but I haven't seen that since road trip videos this past summer. Did you phase it out entirely or will it be back for only certain road trip videos?

We will work on this we apologize for the lack of stats we were just at a crossroads in our off YT life and gave in to some things to decrease our load so we could continue putting out videos. We will work on a way to incorporate those stats in an efficient way. Thanks for following along.
