Coming up on 5 months in my 24 R1S and I love it to death. Some slight panel gaps and a plastic piece on the outside loose but otherwise I’m keeping it for a long time.
Thank you! I was surprised to hear you did not stop at a RAN on your way to R2 event. They are really good I would say as good as Tesla chargers. Last summer from Western Maryland to Florida I charged only at RAN’s until Florida. And did the same from Pooler, GA to western Maryland.
Hi Mr. @RivianTrackr - Any thoughts on a used 2022 Rivian r1t with ~22K miles for $60K? I'm debating Model Y with the new financing or getting a used Rivian. The new Rivian's are too much for me. I don't really need a truck as a daily driver but I really like the looks. I currently drive an Ionic 6.
Great stuff, thanks! You mentioned getting alignment work done at your next service appointment - does the service center give you any grief about the aftermarket wheels and tires? Did you need to/were they willing to recalibrate when you changed the wheels or did you go with exact same tire size?
Im really conflicted between getting the GMC EV truck or the Rivian Max pack R1T, I really want an over 400 mile real world range as we do weekend trips to Lake Tahoe and 400+ mile range allows us to not need to charge round trip and would make the trip so easy.
Thanks for this video. I'm getting an S next week. I live in Colorado. Should I wrap the front only, or spend the EXTRA money for fully body wrap. Or, no wrap? I am getting canyon red. I am leasing to own right now. Sounds like the windshield ceramic tinting is worth it too, right?!
100% on ceramic windshield tint for heat protection + it’ll help your AC run more efficiently. If I had to do it all over again, I would PPF the whole truck but if you’re on a budget definitely the front and side mirrors.
I got Atomic Wheels AW10s on mine. Look good and there are tire options that don't require going to the service center to recalibrate since the diameter is the same.
@@riviantrackr I hope so. I think we need to start reporting this - on the last call they mentioned that anything beyond 1 mile per day should be reported to service. 1% is about 2.5miles. they really need to fix it.
As it is now about 500 kw of waisted energy per year, that is 50-250 USD depending on the region. Unacceptable, especially when compared to 0% loss in BMW, KIA, Ford and others.
