Awesome video guys. The install looks super easy! I would definitely be interested in a 50/50 split one as well! When I park my truck in the garage, I don't have a ton of space on either side, so splitting the length would be perfect so I don't have to cram my self into the tunnel to get something from the middle.

Nice. I would use the foam from the packaging to put the handle in it when in the gear sled. Cut a hole and cut the foam to fit perfectly in the sled. Do it for both sides. Reuse the foam instead of throwing it away

Great vid! Ty for sharing. A few random thoughts: 1:44 - my OCD really wanted you to leaf-blower out all the debris from the tunnel before removing the wiring covers. 😆 5:30: - dig the background music 2:00 - There's another video where someone mentions cutting those panels so they can be reinstalled. Think I saw it on RivianForums. Hopefully this becomes common (maybe with a template) so those wires aren't left exposed

Thank you! Yes, I haven't checked about cutting the panels but that's a great idea as it would give a more OE look too. Yes, totally relate about the OCD 😂

It's brilliant. How about a split system with two halves? That way each half can come out of each side of the truck. at 11:45 they addressed the very same question.

EV sportline offers a split unit. I have been going back and forth between this one and the EV sportline for weeks. I think I like being able to go both ways is slightly more functional.

Does it slide out from both sides?

Great question. It only slides out from one side however you should be able to install it to slide out to either the driver or passenger side depending on your preferences.

I had the same question. It would be great if it did, in case you have limited space on one side or the other, but the 50/50 split idea would address that issue as well. Still, very cool product.
