Get a first hand look behind the scenes with the RJ Fab team as they build everything from high end luxury off road trucks to 1000+ horsepower pro touring cars.
Hey Rob. This is Erik. We spoke a minute ago. I’m that guy in NC with the 78 Bronco. Stoked to see this series you are doing. It’s refreshing to see watch someone who is genuinely passionate and isn’t presenting all that drama you see everywhere. I don’t need to tell you how insane your shop builds are. So high-end. The details are mind blowing. Love dash on the old ford. So techy. So seamless. I had to stop the video and study the exhaust saddles. I am for sure going to fab these into my build. Lastly. Those youngsters you have on your team. Wow. What a great start for their career and craft to be able to work alongside and contribute all that experience. Just a bit jealous. Keep the videos coming rob….
Dude! Thanks that means a lot! We love what we do so the passion is the easy part for us. Yes I’m so proud of this team. They are young but committed and pretty damn talented to boot. Good times! Thanks for the awesome comment! 👊🏼🤘🏼🙌🏼
Thanks Poncho! We try! I don’t catch too many of the TV car shows anymore but once in a while I catch Bitchen Rides and the Kindig crew builds legit cars. Plus there’s no drama like our shop. Just dudes loving what they do and being passionate about it.
The Willys is my dream build. When I was 15 the very first vehicle I bought was a 1950 Willys Panel Wagon that was in pieces. Took about 5 years to get it on the road. It was a disaster...LOL. I was a young kid and had no idea what I was doing. Wishing I would have kept it. In time I would like to do a similar build. Not as crazy as this build but my idea is to build a crew cab Willys Pick up. This is the first time I have ever seen anything like it. Can't wait to follow this!
Adam, thanks for watching and man can I relate to what you’re talking about. I had a Baja when I was a kid and pretty much the same deal. It got me around but it certainly wasn’t my best work. LOL but that’s the fun part, looking at what you’ve done in the past and just trying to improve upon it. I love the crew cab idea. My next luxury prerunner for myself will be the early 70s Dent side crew cab Ford. I’m thinking a very large big block Ford power plant. Should be fun. Again thank you for tuning in and dropping a comment.
Subbed for the Willys, staying for the rest of the builds. The owner has that passion to strive for perfection missing in most custom fabrication shops. It's said money can't buy love, but I sure love what money can buy!
@RobRJFab Badass builds...If I had deep pockets your shop would be one of my first calls. I'd love to see what kind of monster you could make out of my JKU!
Nate, thanks for dropping a comment and tuning in. Heck yeah buddy we all learn from each other. That’s one of the things I love about the car community and this industry. I’m not sure what you’re building but whatever it is keep it up brother! 👊🏼🙌🏼
Thanks for the tour and letting us meet your team. I first saw your builds in the drag racing community and was blown away. Your stuff is always on another level
I have been in corporate aviation building fixing modifications just about all aspects of it. Love seeing the incorporation of aviation in your builds which is probably modified cars and aircraft working side by side. Also love the build quality and the fresh ideas. 2015 to current day I’ve been building or modifying my JKU poison spyder armor dynatrac pro rocks the only thing I didn’t do is the engine trans swap which was done at Motech LT1 6.2. Wish I could work in your shop I have a lot of sheet metal experience and understand quality and the attention to detail. This is something I wish I had gone into for a career.
Those machines are insane and it sounds like you have the perfect background to maintain and engineer as necessary. Everything we use comes from aviation and aerospace industry. Sounds like you have an awesome job! Thanks for watching!!
Haha, Yeah we got to be careful, not sure where we put that body. Just kidding just kidding. On a serious note thank you so much for tuning in and dropping a comment it means everything to us. We have more to come so hopefully you’ll tune in. 😁👍🏼
Boy will be boys and play with their toys….all kidding aside, it’s so awesome seeing y’all do what you love, creating one of a kind luxury off road rides and actually being a family while doing it! Its no wonder why your work always ends in pure PERFECTION….cant wait for what’s next in your upcoming videos! Ps. Love Blanca the mascot 💜
Thanks Steph! Yeah we are family for sure. It’s amazing what you can build when everyone’s build language flows together. Super excited about the future for us. Yep, Blanca is the best!
It’s so exciting all the lives you will inspire through these videos, all the talent you will help along the way. You have such a talented gift that now you get to share with everyone. Great video and can’t wait for the next one.
Always wanted my 05 Tacoma built by u but injuried deputy doesn’t come close with afforded ur work which is beautiful and have followed for yrs. Keep up the amazing work
Thanks Dave and thank you for your service and sorry about your injury. We do work with all types of budgets and quite a few of our customers build their vehicles in increments as they can afford it. Really appreciate the compliment man. Thank you for watching and your support we have more to come.
Ok, cant wait for the next episode already. We don't have shops knocking out top notch work like you guys down here in Australia, i'm early stages into a class race truck build and personally inspired to do as much as i can myself just through watching some of the offroad fab chanels i follow like yours. Thank you for putting the time in to share with us.👍
Man thank you for the killer compliment! Keep charging hard on your race truck and we will be doing more episodes this year. Also thank you for taking the time to drop a comment. If you ever have any questions you can DM me on Instagram @robrjfab
Yeah buddy! I can’t wait to drive it. Engine is at RPM in Huntington Beach. We will have a solid 600 plus HP to the wheels. At under 2K pounds the car should be a blast to drive. Thanks for subscribing! 😁🤘🏼
My best friend sent me this video. About a minute in, I subscribed. This is totally up my interst alley. I'd just recommend giving the camera person some type of light to show the interiors. At 60 you had my eyes and brain straining to absorb every detail. Amazing work from an obviously amazing crew. Can't wait to see more.
Looking forward to watching you and your crews builds and imaginations come to life. This was my dream as a younger man, but had to make different choices; a perk of RU-vid, I get to live vicariously through channels like yours.
Keep them coming rob! I always got excited any time terra, Morgan or Autotopia would show your builds or shop. Stoked that you have your own channel now, I run a similar business in Australia but on a much smaller one man scale so it’s so rad to see the inner workings of your shop and builds to take inspiration from. Thanks for sharing mate👍
Right on Corrie it mean a ton to us to be in the category of Morgan, Terra and Autotopia. Bad ass that you have your own shop going. If you ever need anything let us know. You can dm me in Instagram @robrjfab. Thank you so much for tuning in and dropping a comment. You rock brother!
Thank you! My friends Ken and Ryan get the credit for making this legit out of the gate. We are pumped for the Willys as well. Going to be fun to see it take shape in the upcoming episodes. Stay tuned! 😎
Great episode!! Almost like kibbetechs channel! Showing some small clips of sick work but also speaking some serious knowledge like first person interaction as if the viewer is getting first hand look and private tour! Keep up the same video technique guys!! Been wanting to see you do something like this since terra put y’all in the channel few years ago!
Just came across this video, I was poking around for a luxury pre runner a few years back and people laughed. Guess I was too soon. Why not have fun in comfort.
Rob and crew this is by far the cleanest builds I have ever see. It blows my mind. Also that you have the clients with the big bugs to pay for it. I hope your doing well so that I can see a lot more. The work is absolut fantastic. All the best from the Old Man from the Pancake country - the Netherlands, flat as a pancake. Looking forward to seeing what you got and put in the youtube world, Cheers.
Love you Love your content. And the talent is unmatched. I could watch and listen to you all day with your knowledge. Glad I found your channel. Thanks
@@RobRJFab I think as fabricators we all kinda follow each others footsteps because I definitely follow yours. You are one of the best fabricators I know and now I’m excited because if you keep this up I can watch all the episodes and it allows me to kinda know how your day to day goes so I’m super stoked for you!
Heck yeah thanks for subscribing. We have a ton more content to bring. The main shop is 4000 ft.² and when it gets a little warmer will have all the doors up on both shops and do a walk-through of everything.
dude, miss hesperia.use to live on bodart and c street, miss hesperia days.thats back in the day when it was overrun with flat landers &wanna be gangsters.80-92, my ex used to work at etiwanda high school .down the hill, man i miss living there!!!
I remember those days Leroy. Graduated in 89. Small town back then. Kinda hard and gritty. You had to be tough. Lot of fights growing up to settle our problems.
Love that you’re doing this! Can’t wait to see more. Couple tips? Have the camera guy stay on the vehicles instead of you. Better lighting. Keep the content directed at an audience that has a basic understanding of things. Like you did in this one. Don’t dumb it down. See you at KOH! Oh and props for giving your guys some spotlight too 👍🏻
Thanks for the insight! I feel like we’ll get better as we go. I can talk a big talk all day until the camera comes out. Hopefully like you are saying, the work will speak for itself. Excited for KOH, see you there! 🤙🏼🙌🏼
@@tommycuevas4759hey bud all great info. But rather than dropping negative comments like “the camera guy got on your nerves” Be stoked the team put out a fantastic, informative video. Keep in mind this is the 1st of many. Cheers 🍻
@@RobRJFab yessir just keep coming with the content! I’m from Alabama and I’m buying at YJ jeep and my best friend just bought a raptor I feel as if your page could continue to inspire and teach us a lot!! Thanks again
