Vocals samples are not from the Twilight Zone but, actually from a piece of vinyl called Famous Monsters Speak "Frankenstein's Monster Talks !" (1963) I think it was reissued on CDa few years back.

ive literally been trying to find this song for the longesg time!!!

This song has followed me my whole life- from when I was 10 in 2002 and The Horror came out, it was in the playlist rotation at the laser tag arena/video game arcade that my dad owned. Thus song would play frequently during laser tag games there, games which I got to freely participate in amongst the actual customers (because my dad would just take me to work and I'd occupy myself in this paradise he ran- I realize now how lucky I was as a child). Then, when I met my partner in 2010 at college in Vermont, he had this album on vinyl and I recognized the song from laser tag! After we had been listening to it in his dorm pretty often for that semester- somehow rjd2 happened to be in the running out of four bands/artists for us students to vote on to perform at our small Vermont college's Spring Concert! And then, rdj2 happened to win the vote, beating out 3 other options including the popular local VT band Rubblebucket. And rjd2 won despite a large sector of our crunchy hippie student population complaining bc they wanted more "natural" (acoustic) nonelectronic music. And then the rdj2 Spring Concert ended up being when me and my partner became official. We are still together now in 2020! So it just seems odd to me considering how semi-obscure this is, that it's been so present in my life ever since it came out and has marked significant events for me personally. It will always be special to me 💚

How come the RU-vid Algorithm identified the artist as being The Stranglers instead of RJD2? I could find no connection when I looked them up. (It could be due to machine learning and the fact that a No More Heroes video has this song clipped onto the end randomly so it could have misidentified the artist that way maybe but that is still weird).
