Claudia Hövener (Robert Koch Institute, Germany) focuses on health inequities in Germany. The health reporting on social inequalities has been taking place for 25 years and illustrates the discrepancy between knowledge and implementation of helpful measures. She highlights the importance of the exchange with key groups, policy makers and international colleagues.
The Robert Koch Colloquium is an annual interdisciplinary lecture series, each year focusing on one specific innovative public health topic, such as Digital Epidemiology (2017), Human Microbiome Research (2018), Burden of Disease (2019) Public Health Surveillance (2021) or Climate Change and Public Health (2022).
