You are missing a thrust bearing.. On the back of the gear you pull out, there should be a thrust bearing with rollers pointing towards the actuator arm 👍🏼
Mine was doing the same thing but it was sticking a lot harder midway. Stumped me for weeks. The rod was bent rubbing the case. Bent it back and now its smoooooth.
@@kanethompson4144Gotta take cylinder off to get rod out? Picked up a 01' rm125 thinking has powervalve issue, it like break up bad closed to 1/2 or 3/4th throttle, just was reading 01 had power valve issues
never did get it fully fixed i just tightened up the tension on the power valve adjuster on the other side of the cylinder so it had more tension to close the power valve. It hurt the top end in doing so but all i did was woods ride so no big deal. I ended up selling the bike.
MrMerkcityking same thing I'm thinking. I have a 91 rm 125 and my actuator just moves up and down freely with no spring action. All the videos I watch seem to spring back?
Does my rod suppose to be loose? I've just rebuilt the top end but haven't started the bike yet and I can't tell if the rod is connected to the actuator at the bottom end. PSA HELP!!!! I just want to ride. Can someone give me a response
