Anderson Paak wasn't involved in the songwriting of this song. There are other names credited in this particular song, but usually, RM writes the lyrics and the co-writers make the melody or the beat. RM *is* one of the main lyricists of BTS, who has 200+ song credits to his name. And he calls this album an archive of his last years of his 20s. So these lyrics reflect his thoughts and feelings over those years. If you're still interested in exploring "Indigo", I'd suggest listening to it in order, like RM has requested. It takes you on a journey of genres. Whether you do a reaction to it or you listen to it on your own time, I think you'll enjoy it. The album is amazing and the songs are great individually. If you want to explore other parts of BTS discography, my suggestion would be "Singularity" by V, a neo-soul song from their album "Love Yourself: Tear".
I think you should watch the *"RM 'Indigo' Album Magazine Film"* where he talks about the album, songs, writing and featuring artists etc.,to understand how very much Still Life is RM and written by him. I think if you knew him a bit better, his personality and interest in art and what he been through you really would have a different opinion about it. But The Magazine film is a great start and really interesting and fun watch. I, and many with me, will watch if you do a reaction to it. It's on BTS RU-vid channel BANGTANTV.
I would love to see your reaction to the Magazine Film, if you’re interested. Based on your experience/background, I think you’d have some interesting thoughts! 💜
rm wrote the whole album himself! there’s a few verses by other featured artists that they wrote, but other than that “indigo” is a very personal album. in general, rm has the biggest role when it comes to writing bts’ songs. he participated in writing the lyrics for every single bts’ group song. he believes that rappers should write their own lyrics. he always talk about the behind stories of making an album in the live, for at least an hour. you can really see his whole thought process if you watch it. other than him, suga produced many of bts’ songs, including tomorrow (my personal favorite), autumn leaves, ddaeng, let me know, boyz with fun, etc. in general, all bts members participate in song production. they either write the lyrics, or the melody, although they do have their in house producers who also work with them. one of the biggest reasons why i love bts is because they create their own music, and i love watching the behind the scenes of that. you can see that they feel every single word they sing and i think that’s beautiful🤍
First time seeing you and I REALLY LIKE YOUR REACTIONS. I binged all of the BTS reactions!!👏👏👏👏💜🫰🏾. I am ARMY. I am enjoying you discovery of the BEST group in the world. And Jimin is my bias and JHope is my bias wrecker. I love all 7 though. Enjoy your BTS journey. 😊😊🫰🏾🫰🏾🫰🏾🫰🏾💜💜💜💜
it would be very complementary to the whole album experience if you checked out the Album magazine film it's on their official channel, so you can see some of the insights that he talks about writing the songs, this album is basicly a diary to him... and it has some commentary from the featured artists, it's really cool, in case you're interested -disclaimer; idk if it makes sense- english is not my language. -Here is the link just in case: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lRy8OYhLO-A.html
💜borahae :) Jhope collab is message to Army and also paying respect to his ultimate inspiration from the beginning when he used to be a street dancer and would dance to JCole, his wish to work with him came true. Jimin collab with Taeyang was another case of someone getting to work with someone who was their huge inspiration Jimin's album comes out soon :) RM got to collab with Erykah Badu who was his first thought as THE VOICE necessary for that song he wrote.
