Indigo is the 6th color in rainbow. ARMY's are purple (7th), and Namjoon represents himself as blue (5th). So this album is in the middle of himself and ARMY. He wanted to tell us everything he went through since he also said that this is his last "archive" in his late twenties 💜 #chesticleswithchain

Also there are many ryhme in his korean lyric. For example, "When all this fame turned into shackles", 'fame' and 'shackles' have almost same sound in Korean. Another example, "My start was poetry", "Start" is pronounced "Si-Jak", and "Poetry(poem)" is pronounced "Si" in Korean, so "Si-jak' starts with "Si"(poem). His wordplay and double meaning are more impressive if you can read the lyric in Korean😊😊

fireworks disappear at once, but flowerworks doesn't. rm said desire to remain around us like flower. and Nak Hwa nori-korean traditional firework was really meaningful. Nak Hwa means falling flower and falling fire. in the mv, fire is not cg, it's real.

This song his the mirror of how Namjoon is feeling for a long time which he showed so well in Festa 2022. He needs freedom, a new chapter, to be more himself and to have emotional structure and support in his personal life. His freedom it's represented by the wild flowers field vs fireworks (star shows, concerts and celebrity life). That's why he aims for flowerworks vs fireworks. 💜

That song is incredible. Namjoon bearing his soul in such an eloquently beautiful and poetic way. That song honestly made me cry 😢

There was no SUGA production on this album. Dockskim said he worked the hardest on this song, producing it, and that Dockskim was thinking about retiring, but after working on this song, he changed his mind, got inspiration from RM. That was an awesome story. There is an interview RM did, and all the artists were interviewed as well. It was really good. You could do that one for your PATREON, or post it here also. He said this was his title track because this song means the most to him. there is also an RM - Tiny Desk Home concert you could do. When he's in the storm, the debris flying around him includes microphones. I think he looks finally free in the last shot when he's lying in the flower field where the real him belongs.

The more I listen to this song, the more touching it gets… The Korean title, "Wild Flower Works” is a flame falling to the ground, unlike ‘fireworks’ that flower toward the sky. I can remember his words that he wanted to be a flame, but now he wants to live like a wild flower. Despite achieving everything and standing at the top, living so fiercely in introspection... I'm proud of them, but sometimes I feel sad. “Wildflower Works” in the MV are an intangible cultural asset of Korea.

i very much hope joon sees your reaction 🫶 joon said he doesn’t want to live like a firework which is bright and flashy but temporary. he’d rather live like a wildflower, humble but beautiful and proud. both scatter across the sky (as fire or as petals) but one fizzles out and leaves emptiness behind and the other is eternal, always finding new ground to plant itself into. i think he’s struggled for a while with holding onto his “true” self, it seems like he equates fireworks to boyhood and wildflowers to eternity. at one point he says he can’t go up to the stars again which implies he doesn’t want to be a firework, despite their beauty they’re always flashing and doing what needs to be done to put on a show. in contrast, wildflowers are calm, proud, loyal to their roots, and beautiful in a gentle and consistent way. i’m so unbelievably proud of him. this entire album is amazing and i hope he’s proud. your reaction was so funny!! you’re very good at interpreting lyrics- understandable as a rapper haha.

A beautiful fall - RM always said that he didn’t know how long they will continue to be at this level of success/fame. In many interviews him and the members said they when the time come they will fall gracefully, and they are not afraid of it. The significance of the storm - he also talk how his success right is equivalent to a storm, there’s so many things going on sad he is at the center of it.

This is what makes me fall in love with BTS not by their looks (well it's a bonus tbh 😍) but by the deep lyrics they put into their works. It makes you stop and think about life while analyzing or understanding their lyrics. And that's what a true artist should be.

It's always expected when it's RM 's song it will be deep and heart touching 🥺 and it hit hard i cried listen to it it's so raw feelings of his it's just so beautiful and the vocals of yoojean it's awesome 💜💜🥺RM said he's been working on this album for 4 yrs from 2019💜and he made masterpiece 💜🥺it's heartbreaking and healing comforting at same time 🥺🧡

Yes thank you for respecting the first 24hrs rule. I believe when he is talking about visualizing the end it is because most K-Pop groups are signed for like 7 years and most just kinda disappear after that time frame because their contracts have ended. Not very many live longer. So 7 guys from a no name company surely would not extend pass that, if they got that far. He hadn't planned for it not ending. He was mentally unprepared for it lasting and becoming as big as it did. In this, he started to lose himself as he had originally thought he would be. He is someone who likes to see the whole picture and when the edges started to blur from uncertainty I think it scared him and caused him to stop and check himself. To ask "Is this what I really wanted? Am I who I really want to be?" Hence, we have Indigo. I also love Still life with Anderson Paak. I have read the lyrics to it yet, but I love the music. Oh I will stop now sorry for the length.

The album is his diary from 1-10. He asked that we listen to his album in order. He did a whole video with paintings and items - 10 art piece to explain he song... you should watch it... he pulls the color and art together . The first song on the album is Yun - about his hero painter... on the interview with Zach he describes what the painter went through during Korean war... and it all makes sense

That's what this song is trying to display, even though he has everything he's slowly losing himself and he's taking that in mind and just wants a beautiful place to let it all go even though it's full of sadness. It's a song that strikes deep, I know it hit me in the same way. He's lived a life in his 20s that many will never relate to or have the opportunity to experience yet everything he has to say resonates so universally. He's genuinely a very very special person. If I can make one recommendation per your decision on tiny desk (and I know everyone enjoys music in their own way), Namjoon mentioned he hoped fans could listen through the album as is, in order, for the full experience. As a longtime army, it's one of my most memorable full album sit throughs I've ever experienced. I'm sure you're eager to get to tiny desk, I just wanted to offer my experienceThe beginning of the video and when youjeen sings the hook reminds me of RM and Jimin on American Hustle Life watching the fireworks and being in amazement of them. It brings a warm and fuzzy feeling to me.
