Still no unlocking rear diff, love the the new unit from what I see so far but Yamaha really needs a unlocking rear diff option, makes it really nice when just driving easy around the homestead not wanting to leave ruts in the yard and gravel driveways.

Really sweet looking. Not having turf mode for a sport utility really sucks. My 19 Base model X2 tares my yard up big time while using it around the house to haul mulch and collect items in the dump box. But damn that rig looks sweet and I'd love to drive it on my trails. But that's a lot of $$$ for the difference in what you get in the 850 X2. Think I'll keep my 850 and just wish I had a 1,000 .

I would love to have one but geez when did this hobby get so expensive?? When I was a kid if a family had a $5000 350 Big Bear 4x4 they a top of the line machine.

I have to agree with Greg, Yamaha dropped the ball on not putting in a unlocking rear axle. That's going to rip up the tires on the asphalt. So I'm still leaning towards the General for that reason.

Tim May I do wish they had put an unlocking rear axle in it though. I do a lot of street driving. That’s probably the only thing I would change though. Other than the price lol. I’ll have to keep my talon until there are some rebates on these. But it will definitely be my next sxs (RMAX4 XT-R)
