With this kit, there seems to be a little gap at top of front windscreen where it meets the frame. Is it because the roll cage frame is round?

It's cool but at least were I go that windshield would last a season, maybe 2, before it was toast. Just on my quad my helmet gets pelted by stones on a constant basis so I can only imagine those hitting that glass.

So what is the best way to get this kit if a person already has the hard suntop, can you get it cheaper than the $4899 MSRP without having to order it with the suntop?

I wouldn't spend the money. I have the kit and heater. The heater doesnt heat when your going down trails. Only when you are stopped. The cab is less than impressive. I have been nothing but disappointed and regret getting the cab and heater. Save your money.

@@stuartrogers1343 I have the soft cab on now and I have built my own heater using a 2.5" PVC collector mounted right behind the radiator with ducting back to two 2.5" vents. The only problem with that heater is it doesn't flow hot air unless your moving

@@davidromero6335 at least the heat is working when moving. With Yamaha heater, its the opposite. You have no heat while on a trail until you stop and let the heat build up. Terrible design, and Yamaha techs think that is working as designed and have no issue with how it works. I've been talking to Yamaha and the dealer since the weather has changed and the heater hasnt been working. All i get is, if its not malfunctioning then its working. Save your money and truthfully, i will probably be trading this piece of for a can am defender with cab or something in the future. Good luck with your wolverine.

Stuart Rogers Glad you made this comment, I've heard the very same complaint on at least four other occasions. I almost pulled the triggered on the X2 with cab kit, but have decided to save for a while longer and will likely go with Can am as well.

Apparently you've never ridden in it in the summer. That thing will cook you like a roast inside when it's running.. the heater kit is a joke in the winter as is the wiper.....😷😂😷😂😷
