Our first winter visit to Rocky Mountain National Park, December 2021.
Apologies for the lack of narration, unforeseen circumstances had this trip not going as planned, but it was still a great learning experience & we can't wait to return! We visited Bear Lake, Sprague Lake; I did a short hike up to Nymph & Dream Lake. I also hiked from the YMCA of the Rockies into the Tuxedo Park area.

Thanks for watching. I really want to make it out there for a summer trip sometime, we got smoked out during 2020 due to the wildfires. However, for a southerner line me, I think it’s one of the more accessible & enjoyable mountain destinations for winter trips. I hope we can do another one this year & fit in some longer hikes!

Second time seemed as good as the first time . I love the attempt to bugle at the elk. The first time I saw it my phone was turned up too loud, and it scared me a bit.🤣 👍

Wow. Great shots! That looks so cool in the winter. It's kinda weird not seeing the lake water.
