I enjoy seeing how the personalities of the actors differ from the personalities of their characters. Yannick Bisson seems fairly bubbly, while Jonny Harris has an aura of pathos about him... but I guess many comedians do.
this is beautiful, a combination of two of my favourite things, Murdoch and RMR. I love you all. PS you know who is a brilliant Canadian actor who hasn't been on the show, Colin Mochrie.
That is true. I would watch it right away if they asked him. I've heard the show will be back for another season, so I hope they get him on an episode. If the CBC can do something right (for once), that would be it.
I'm such a MM fan, I recalled which episode this was. Also, season 16 is being filmed right now, love that it's been going for as long as it has...and hopefully for many seasons to come.
LOVE Murdoch Mysteries sooo much💗 I watch reruns every single day on Netflix!! I was surprised though that Yannick couldn't do a simple stunt like hopping on the back of that slow moving fire engine?!! That was a bit disappointing.
Inspector Thomas brackenreid...Detective William Henry Murdoch...Constable George Crabtree...Henry Higgins...Slugger Jackson...Docter Julia Ogden...Rebecca James
Season 14 is airing now!! Episode one of season 14 became one of my top 10 best episodes!! It was more classic Murdoch. Loved it and love, love love the show❤
It's too bad Leslie Nielsen is no longer with us. He would have made a great guest star. Back in that time period, the RCMP was still known as the NWMP (North West Mounted Police). Leslie's father was actually an RCMP officer. It would have been weirder if they had him play a politician, considering his brother, Erik, was actually Deputy Prime Minister from 1984 to 1986, meaning he was second-in-command to Brian Mulroney during his first couple of years in office.
