Basing your opinion of a presidential candidate on a less than 1 second audio clip of a conversation he had more than 20 years ago is exactly what I expect from somebody on the left.

Its crazy to me how Trump's stance on Russia got rewritten so fast. There's literally a clip of a Russian comedian making a joke about how much Trump loves Putin and Putin laughing about it. He tried to remove sanctions against Russia several times and even got impeached for withholding military aid from Ukraine.
That isn't good evidence. -He always laughs at jokes directed at him, and if he knows it isn't true that only makes it funnier. -He was against Sanctions to Russia when they were hurting the American economy more. -He wasn't impeached for witholding military aid from Ukraine. He was for insinuating that aid would be contingent on them cooperating with an ongoing corruption investigation.

Everything Trump did during his presidency indicates Ukraine would be in a much worse place if Trump was still president.

Because the Kremlin thing isn't a lie, they can't verify it didn't happen. The Iraq thing you can find quotes of Trump thinking invading Iraq is a poor decision in 2003 less than a year after that interview. Shocker, the fact checkers lied again.

Next, despite "crime" falling. The chances of becoming a victim of a crime went up significantly. That whole war was a lit fuse and was going to go off no matter who was president. Also as of now, Russia would be more likely to expand their invasion based on the rhetoric of the Republican party. Not saying my opinion on the rhetoric. Just observing the fact that Russia is a lot more likely to overwhelm Ukraine without US support.

Fun fact: In the 1990s, when Trump's businesses were foundering and he had to put multiple endeavors into bankruptcy, Donald started doing voice over jobs to make ends meet. (As a consequence, he _still_ talks WAY too much) He didn't abandon voice work until _The Apprentice_ was in full swing, and licensing the Trump name began making him more money than his real estate ventures. In fact, every episode saw Trump introduce a challenge to the contestants and then escape in a helicopter--in the first three or four seasons it was likely a voice job.

From what I'm seeing, this is a result of Trump putting in place policies that we didn't start really feeling the downsides of until the pandemic, and Biden doing very little if anything to change course.
