RO-SPIDER Multitool from Robbe Modellsport - How to build and use

In this video I will show you how to build and use the RO-SPIDER Multitool from Robbe Modellsport. The Ro-SPIDER is a combination of a model stand and a center of gravity tool. The different supports and fixtures offer a wide variety of settings. You can use it for almost any geometry or type of RC plane from small size to large size (up to approx. 4.5m wingspan). The CG tool is supporting the plane under the wings with 2 rockers that are mounted with ball bearings. The desired CG position can be set by moving the arms on the aluminum tubes. You can easily read the CG distance on the attached ruler.

Always great to watch your meticulously organized builds. I generally buy several IKEA kits at a time so I've usually made all the possible stuff-ups by the last one! 🙄😜😂

Yes, the size is well adapted for small and medium planes. For really large planes (more than 4 kg) there are other stands available on the market.

robbe is actually gearman and means seal.

The name was derived from the founder’s name Robert Becker back in the 1920‘s

In der Tat der Aufbau nicht ganz in 5min zu erledigen. Am Ende aber ein lässiges Produkt was bei mir aber eher ein Universalhalter mit Schwerpunktwaagen-Funktion ist. 😃

Ja, ich hab etwas mehr als 5 Minuten gebraucht… trotz Zeitraffer 😜 Das Tool ist wirklich sehr nützlich, vor allem die Halter Funktion. Schwerpunktwaage braucht man ja nicht jeden Tag. Aber „Haben ist besser als Brauchen“ 😁
