Haha same dude! I always say my brothers got named after our great great uncle that died in the war, and the other was named after our great grandpa, who also died in the war…. Then I got named after roadhouse. 😂
@@VikingWolf745 I'm trying to think, would I place it on my Top 25 best movies of All Time. I'm not sure about "All Time". That's a major claim and there are a lot of epic movies I'd have to sort out. But I like the passion in the comment. 80's wise it's definitely up there. 🍻
You forgot to mention Jeff Healey, blind guitarist, who does a lot of music for this movie. Also, once one had watched "Raod House" the path is clear- next goes "Harley Davidson and Marlboro Man", then "Fixing The Shadow" and finally... "Strange Days". (Yes, if one has enough time "Crow" with Brando Lee and "Tombstone" can be added to that list)
Man, i gotta go with braveheart as well. Also, i love "Beyond the law" i had n9 idea it was also titled fixing the "shadow". And throw "barbwire" in the mix
I meet Jeff when he came to Australia to promote the movie. The drummer blew blunts all through the concert, with Joe Rockman? on bass. Jeff's version of blue jean blues is Gangsta.
Omg I was a kid when this came out and when I seen Mr. Sam Elliot I knew why my momma loves him! I did too, still do to this day and Patrick too wwoooowwwee! Then after he rips Jimmy’s throat out and scream Westly FFF YOU! Best line and the one at the end! A polar bear attacked me! 😂😂😂
The fight between Dalton and Jimmy is easily in my top 10 favorite hand to hand movie fights. Its dirty, brutal, and well-choreographed to where it dosen't look too choreographed.
Much of that fight was real, go watch what Marshall Teague said about it. When he hit Patrick with that piece of wood he cracked ribs. That water is 43 °. They Marshall $500 he'd jump out of the water the minute he hit it. Watch the Marshall Teague interview.
I was late for work one time and my boss asked why? I was watching Roadhouse 🤷🏻♂️ excuse accepted 👍 My Gf wanted to have some fun, sorry I’m watching Roadhouse 👍 I asked my young son what Disney film do you want to watch? His answer was Roadhouse 👍 Peter Griffin “Roadhouse”
My favorite movie of all time. I can watch it over and over and never get tired of it. It's got everything. Every genre of storytelling there is, it's in there.
This movie inspired me to get a philosophy degree and work security in New Orleans dive bars. I'll never forgive Patrick Swayze for how my life turned out. Also, thank you Patrick for the list of toxic women I've blown through. Nevermind. I blame you for them too
One of the most iconic 80’s nostalgia film ever , cool as greatest clothes, coolest car and trucks even feature BigFoot , Sam Elliot reprising his legendary role as “ Gus “ from the ultimate classic with Cher “ Mask “ , Dalton drives a 560 SEC film is LEGENDARY BIGGER THAN LIFE !!!! This film is a masterpiece historically registry of 80’s nostalgia and cultural assets ❤
It's true, nobody wins a fight. You either walk away with a criminal record or you fall down then walk away with a criminal record. Anybody about to say "Only if they catch you" has run away when seeing cherries and berries
Roadhouse is in my Top 5 favorite movies. The entire clip from when Sam Elliot rides up on his Harley and walks out onto Dalton’s fight is my favorite part.
So true. I recently just saw Roadhouse and I was surprised to see Sam Elliot looking so young. Great awesome movie. Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliot kicking a** across the screen was such a delight to see🤩🤩🤩
There was once a 14yr old Indian girl who got so pregnant under the covers by this movie. 2months before her arranged marriage was to take place. Her parents thought the movie was highly inappropriate.
His character is so tough he can walk into a rowdy bar wearing a cream-colored deep v neck sweater with a white crew neck t shirt underneath and a long, flowy trench coat and not be laughed out the place immediately.
Giving yourself stitches is tricky, but not as painful as you may think. You're already cut, the pain is already there. I've never gotten stitches from a doctor, but I've sewn up a couple of my own. The tricky thing is if the cuts are on your arms, you can only sew with one hand and can't use one to keep the wound closed. There is probably an easier way to do it, but I've only done it a couple of times.
