Another cracking video dave mate. I really like the master system version. And in fact I don't remember playing the megadrive version ever. So this is the only one I know. The music is definitely a massive feature and the gameplay is very addictive. We picked this one last year for the master system challenge and I was totally hooked all week ✌️ I am quite fortunate to have both copies. The kixx and the standard but quiet hard to pick up even over here.

I love this game back in time and entertained me for many hours :), even now! I own the Portuguese Purple version (I think very wished outside Portugal, my home country) that my parents bought to me back in time many years ago.
As a kid I always wanted the Game Gear version of Road Rash because I loved RPGs and the Game Gear has almost no RPGs, and buying & choosing bikes was as close as I could get to an RPG progression system. Also I noticed you used some big blooper language in this video. These rowdy biker games are bad for you, Dave. I encourage you to cover a wholesome game, such as Berenstain Bears Camping Adventure (preferably co-op with a friend or family member), to atone for your rough language.
The text on the back is really bad. Especially the german one, we don't use "km/st", it's still just "km/h" and there are so many wrong words ("Adreneline", "Ölfüzen"). The italian text is also really bad. Actually surprising, as usually the translations were ok with only 1-2 mistakes, but here, everything is pretty much wrong and horribly translated. Also it's not just the dutch, but the swedish right before also get only the message that instructions in their language are included. It's a pretty good port, surprising even so given US Gold's track record at the time, especially with ports of EA games (Do i need to say more than Championship Hockey?)
