When you see the 14 camaro at picures it doesnt look that good, but when you see the camaro driving on the streets the refreshed exterior looks so nice ;)
Why do they think the taillights are a turn for the worst? Every time I see a 2014 Camaro on the street I admire the refreshed looks, especially the rear, and I'm not really a Camaro fan. The SS 1LE with Recaros sounds like an awesome track car, but I haven't seen one for less than $40k new. Maybe a great used buy in a few years, or I'll just wait for the 2015 Mustang GT... But then it comes down to the debate of LS3 vs Coyote 5.0, both amazing engines....
i agree, the LS3 engine if it comes with the same hp from tha corvette it should be the winner in this match. Unfortunately the Mustang engineers were unable to drop some weight. On the other hand the interior of these camaros today is so cheap and outdated....it really needs a update soon. the big middle hood vent is awful too, 2015´s stangs either. 2013-14 Stang has the nicest vents imho.
That's one of the most wicked looking rides on the street. Only thing is everybody picks the yellow one. I'd honestly go with the white or red, maybe even blue or black 1le. As long as it aint yellow!
I considered buying a 2014 Camaro SS but that's too much money. I ended up getting a 2014 Challenger R/T. It may not have quite as much HP, but the price was great. After factory rebate & dealer discounts it was just $24,490. I love that car. I get compliments everyday.
Yea the 6GENCAMAROSS are a little bit better 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 Better technology so I imagine how the newer 1lE Performs Engine stock 455 horses
This is the second test of an SS 1LE getting the same exact 1/4 mile and trap speed as the regular SS. I don't see how that's possible with the 1LE's 3.91 vs 3.45 gearing, and the 1LE's 5.5 pound lighter (per wheel) -forged wheels with 285 mm tires all around. I know Motor Trend was able to get a 2013 SS 1LE to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, and then ran the 1/4 mile in 12.7 @ 111.8 mph with it. That's more like it. Maybe it was a combination of track conditions, altitude, traction and / or driver skill? This is still an awesome video as always, and I gave it a like of course.
The Camaro is in its 5th model year for the 5th generation and this new design seems to be polarizing. I for one think that the changes are a big update to the 2010-2013 Camaro, and the 1LE is probably the best Camaro you can get for the money ($35,000-$37,000 starting off). I can't think of a single car in this price range that can go as faster or faster then the 1LE on a track (in the US). Car and Driver got a near sub 3 minute lap time out of the 1LE Camaro at VIR which is just insane.
Save up a little more for a Stingray over an optioned out SS1LE? You don't save up a "little more". That's nearly a $10k price gap... Just my two cents: SS1LE > Stingray(base), but StingrayZ51 > SS1LE Enough with the taillights already. Go look at a '69 Camaro. It's not a departure from Camaro design, it's just more retro styling making it back to the new Camaro.
The stingray sounds better, has a really nice interior, more power and torque, better trunk storage, it's more comfortable, lighter, and gets 17 city 29 highway mpg.
I think they just made the headlights and taillights way too short to look proper, but i think thats a government "saftey" rule where you have to have small ass headlights on cars now so i guess GM isnt to blame for that.
New mustangs are nice but the tail light kills it for me completely. The new challengers are all around sex. The new Camaros are also tits. All nice cars, it's all preference at this point
marlon pisk The fact he can't give the right specs for his KIA is even funnier. Sorry bud the 1.6 turbo has 201hp and 195lbs of torque.. lol. So we know that he's lying..
J Mills The fact you can't give the right specs for your KIA is even funnier. Sorry bud the 1.6 turbo has 201hp and 195lbs of torque.. lol . You are a DREAMER and a LIAR.
hnnotyy Where's KIA racer-boy? Out hunting Camaro SS 1LE with his crapbox that has less than 1/2 the power? That's why you shouldn't let kids grow up to be ricer's L.O.L.
It does look like a fusion it's ugly and the Mustang has no chance because the new camaro z/28 has proven to be better than the Nissan gtr I doubt the Mustang will even come close
Sorry bobby you're crazy. The front of the new stang looks like a fusion, and the back a cockroach. I love those LED Evil Eyes on the Camaro RS package.
Front & sides look great but the back tail lights are the worst decision Chevy could have ever made. I hope next years model returns to the previous tail light design.
The camaros tail lights are ruined. It looks so dumb now. My neighbor bought one and i picked that thing to death. I have to 2011 red jewel tint ss and he said he likes mine better cause of the headlights and taillights lol. Funny... at least I know I have a limited paint job and the good looks so now this car will be worth a lot more in the future lol. My friend at the chevy dealer wanted me to trade mine in and hed give me 38k for mine lol.
HAHA. I guarantee absolutely everything you just said is BS. No you're jealous because your car is depreciating faster than you'd hoped due to the new way better looking camaros. A red jewel tint SS camaro which in my opinion is a girly color to begin with is worth no more than 23-25K with under 30K miles! Sorry Guitar bro, it's not even worth as much as you still owe on it... :/
My buddy sought one new a few months ago.. It's a beautiful car, with many options. But it's in the shop more than he drives it.. Rear end went out. After it was fixed, the exhaust had a nasty rattle.. And still GM is using the Tupperware interior.. I guess it is a nice car, but way over priced
I'm a Ford fan and this time I was actually looking to have an open mind on my next car. But I've been trying so hard to get myself to like the Camaro.I can't, it's ugly as hell and doesn't look special at all. The interior is trash as well. Look like two rectangles for gauges and just boat loads of space and hard plastic everywhere else
weirdshibainu Do you own one? It's actually pretty well put together... The Recaro seats are extremely high quality, and functional. Very comfortable. Styling is subjective and a matter of opinion. It's not even remotely intended to be a muscle car.
