The Germans sure know how to make a super fast four door. Almost ridiculous levels of speed from such a big vehicle. Wish I had that kind of money as I'd love to own one :)
I can only imagine the potential with good tuning and a few mods. Audi's Group B rally cars with the 20 valve inline 5 in the 80's was making over 600 horsepower.
They're not overbuilding their engines any more (e.g. 300HP ABZ bottom end is good to three times that) and they're tuning them a lot more tightly now.
I have one, exactly same color, 2016 Prestige...it is a multi-faced car, you can uso it as a friendly daily, to hunt super cars or to do track day, the only point of attention is the cost of all kinds of maintenance, which's expected for Audi and even more for a RS badge. But other than that, fantastic car!
People here keep asking about an all digital dash, but the people that actually drive the A6-A7, S6/S7, RS6/RS7 don't generally prefer the digital dash...
In real drag strip conditions the Performance package will be much faster that what the magazine achieved. I have a best full stock on my 2015 RS7 at 11.44@122, and that's not even the fastest stock RS7 measured. They regular versions can run as low as 11.30s...The Performance should be able to run low low 11s...Plus they are launching it wrong... You have to press the traction control for 10 secs to disengage everything, put it in individual mode with everything in dynamic, except the suspension which has to be in comfort for the car to squat... And then of you go. I guaranty you, private owners will be running much much lower that what is shown here...
Hardly ass clowns, just a couple old guys that get in turn on the ac and floor it rather than all the dynamic, personal mamba jumbo launch control bs thats not need on an awd car.
It's an rs7 but the infotainment system shows a base model a7. This attention to detail is just depressing. Also, the interior is dated when compared to the latest model which has three screens.
Anything in the German market whether it be the pristine performance package or even the base model these cars dollar for dollar pound for pound horse power per horse power are just not worth it there's so many other cars out there they give you more power more options for half the price wise is anybody go to the German market I mean they are quality vehicles but they're just very overpriced
tesla... please this review never gets the fastest time just search on youtube...the electric motor of the tesla give 100 percent torque off the line but when the rs7 hits second and third gears it wastes the tesla...one of the few cars to do so
