I don't care for what's happening in the Avengers, but they have at least 3 mutant "friendly" members - Thor, who is now half mutant, Echo who is the current host of the mutant loving Phoenix and Namor who once upon was the first mutant until Apocalypse and other retcons undid that. My hope is at the conclusion of AXE, the mutants turn the tables and find a way to prevent Eternals from resurrecting themselves. This way payback is a beyotch! What happens to Eternals society/culture when they realize they are no longer eternal?
@@iamyou2376 only until the the next writer decides to retcon him into a non mutant like what we've seen happen to Wanda, Pietro and Franklin which is to the detriment of those characters.
@@rjhemedes I dont think it will happen. They’re already retconning Franklin back to being a mutant i think. And if it does happen, Marvel will not get any peace
That's right, Apocalypse used Celestial tech to alter Nathaniel Essex into Sinister. One mutant connection to the Celestials I want to see is Katherine Pryde. In the Black Vortex story arc, several mutants submitted to the mysterious mirror called Black Vortex, which was created by a Celestial. At the end, most mutants wished away the power enhancement that was done by the mirror, except Kitty Pryde. This cosmic power wasn't mentioned since so was lead to believe that it faded away, like was shown with Gamora. But still, this is a connection of mutant to Celestials
it shouldve clicked for me sooner and i apologize if others have come to this conclusion long ago, but comparing the numbers of mutants (both on krakoa and mars) vs eternals, i would be shocked if kieron doesnt give us “the mutants are slaughtering us! but then that way theyre also killing humans when they come back!” and some discussion from the QC surrounding the advantages / disadvantages from that
@@jamesricker3997 yeah he def did lol, though magneto isn't dead yet, not after he and storm have decided not to be revived...also while there are at least a million mutants on arrako there's no guarantee he fought a bunch of omegas
I think and really really hope that cause Druig rushed it, and didn't want the details that its Okkara (now Krakoa and Arakko) who is actually the Deviant,
There's a very low chance of winning for the X-men. Marvel is pushing the Eternals on this event because of their movie's box office success.(opposite the mixed reviews)
I find myself struggling to find the Eternals entertaining. I’m so tiered of watching the X-Men get depowered just to keep other heroes relevant. They even had Storm marry Black Panther just to boost his comic sales which only depowered Storm and made her into a one dimensional queen as opposed to the dominant badass she always was. #FreeStormFromWakanda
