I wish I can just wake up and start skiing like Paul or Reilly, but here we are. I'm still at that beginning of carving and look forward to this video dropping ASAP...
Great video , I subscribed to your videos and it helped me improve . Help answer some of the gray areas questions. I did a Harp seminar about 5 years ago and have been sticking with it ..Work because the fundamentals are proven . I am still having trouble with moving the pressured foot forward as described in the L 1 video. Side note a I am a PSIA Level 2 instructor.. They are now about 2 years behind you guys.. thanks
This is an interesting expression you always use: balance on the outside ski. Balancing means for me, that you use different forces against each other so that you do not fall. Normal force against Gravity, centripetal force against centrifugal force. So I wonder what you really mean by balancing against the outside ski, or at least explain how you do this, what do you think you do, what happens during the turns. Maybe you just mean that you put a higher ski-pressure, higher edge angle, higher steering force on the outside ski, than the inside ski? I would not call this balancing.
