Am I the only one who think that Jangjun looks like other person when he is performing? He usually being so noisy and funny but when it goes to perform, he become so cool.. Thats why I love him.. Talented and professional

actually out of all the performances GOLDEN CHILD was the only one who left an imprint. I may not be the only one thinking bout this right? They really left me in an awe.That performance was awesome that can be on an Award Show performance. The performance was so ethereal. if anyone of you really appreciate art THAT'S IT. And I observed that their song choice was not that powerful if you watched the teaser but seeing their performance after the episode really breaks the ice. They proved that you don't need some powerful choreo or rock like music to get someone's attention. They are the only one that has a different concept that they do not need to show how bad ass or how manly they are but it is pure of elegance and and i think that's the reason why some article call their cover a "LEGENDARY PERFORMANCE ON ROAD TO KINGDOM"

how brave of this group to choose a different vibe other than the typical manly, powerful dark concepts that most would prefer to do so as it is the picture that almost everybody, most fans, wanted to see. it is actually a risky decision to go for a smooth, elegant concept like this, knowing this is out of the comfort zone of the golden child, there was also no assurance that they'd be able to pull it off, to surpass the challenge they brought about themselves. but after watching this performance, no words can fathom how they slayed the stage without even trying that hard. they just proved that you don't need to go with the darker concepts just to be able to catch attention and leave your viewers in awe. they truly live up to their name, GOLDEN CHILD

This is not survival show performances, this is an award winning performances. I was so afraid their performances was just simple but damn. It's so grand, extremely high quality. The aura, even from the opening you can feel it. Golden Child, these gold kids really. They surely on another level. Fighting kids! I'm so proud of you guys. T.T

Have you noticed? There were black & white feathers falling at first symbolizing the fight between the swans. Towards the end, only white feathers are floating and falling above them which means white swans won over the black swans. Let's be those white swans, NESS, and defeat those black swans!! Focus on the goal! Y-TING!! :)

You know what? I don't care if they were the first group that was eliminated. Golden Child are the real winners right now. They're getting noticed. I constantly see people talking about their performances week after week. I think y'all have gained a lot of baby Goldenesses, and for good reason. Their concepts were arguably some of the most original stuff to come off of this show. I came on this show for Pentagon, but Golcha captured me from their first 90 second performance and said, "watch." And watch I have. These performances are so elegant--every movement in the choreography is thought out, nothing looks thrown in last minute or out of place, and the execution of said choreography is near-flawless. Their movements are so delicate and yet sharp and perfectly placed. The vocals and raps--oh my gosh. I mean, what is there to say, really? They're awesome. I really love their rappers. The juxtaposition between the softer vocals and then the hard-edged aggressive raps on this performance was SUPER awesome. Honestly, I just love how different they are. They didn't take the easy route on this show, and I think they should've been PRAISED for that, not...whatever you want to call that, because it wasn't elimination, Msnake. Two more things: 1. Whoever thought of setting this song to Swan Lake is a genius. I'm guessing it was one of them? They have my respect for-literally-ever. EDIT: I'm literally a dummy, apologies. 2. On a lighter note, I would NOT want to be whoever had to sweep the stage after this performance. 😂 THE FEATHERS- EDIT 2: I keep coming back here. :')

i'm here because i can't sleep. i feel so frustrated bcs everyone knows golcha deserves a high ranking. they performed a masterpiece, something very different, and they got 5th place? the result is ridiculous. i'm glad the public likes this performance, which means golcha did an amazing job and the public acknowledge their hard work. goldenness are soooo proud of golcha.

The fact Golden Child choose to cover Shinhwa (who's already 22 years old group, still have complete members and STILL ACTIVE as a kpop group) and covered Shinhwa's life-savior hit song, T.O.P (Shinhwa's releases in the past before T.O.P doesn't make a hit and they were compared to H.O.T and Sechskies and once called a flop group and almost disbanded, so they struggled a lot), thanks to T.O.P, Shinhwa succeeded and it continued. Golden Child literally choose the correct "SONG OF KING", even groups like Super Junior, Girls' Generation, INFINITE, and BTS covered this song, what are their similarities? These groups I mentioned became legends of the K-pop industry. I think Golden Child also wants to be like Shinhwa, they want to perform on stage even years have passed, they want their songs to be hit, and they want to become a legend. I also want them to last as a group since they're called Golden Child. I'm still blessed and touched watching like who else is doing it like them? When you hear that Swan Lake sound, it's like a marching Kings and Queens inside the castle with their Knights welcoming them with red carpet, yes, I love Golden Child this much.

What I truly loved about Golden Child is that they were so different from others. Most people choose or look up to the INTENSE performances, but Golden Child chose to not do that. They choose to do an elegant and more beautiful performance. It doesn't have to look intense for it to be beautiful. That's why I love Golden Child. They chose to do something different, something that most groups (or even all) wouldn't do. And their style is just very unique. Doesn't it get kind of boring to see MOSTLY intense performances? Golden Child really stood out to me A LOT. They definitely deserved to get higher than 5th place. Ngl, THE BOYZ definitely deserved first place but how about GOLDEN CHILD? They definitely didn't deserve 5th place. Their performance is such a MASTERPIECE! And choosing something they've never tried: contemporary dancing. They were so good, beautiful, and created such an elegant atmosphere. I truly am in love with contemporary dancing and they did so well on it. I am so proud of them. They'll always be one of my favs that I'll never forget. You guys did well. We are so proud of you, GOLDEN CHILD!!!

You will be surprised when you realize the guy who harmonizes with the main vocal is the main dancer. That is a normal thing in Woollim where danceline and rapline can sing well, like a vocalist.

Okay, I might be late and this sound repetitive, but the way they choose T.O.P that sounded royalty and classic because of the elements of Tchaikovsky's famous Swan Lake, and they made it soft, slow, and getting wild with that rock version switching with the original choreo and then changing the choreo, it's painfully obvious that it's like the quality of Swan, they look majestic yet dangerous and wild (Swans in real life are wild so don't mess up with them or else you'll get yourself in trouble, unless you didn't do harm). It's rare to see some groups covering Shinhwa's songs, which baffled me because Shinhwa is a 22 year old boy group with complete members, unchanging. So, if they want legend and good luck, they should be covering this one. We get to see each members shine, but we see more of Y center, but TAG also stood out because of his contemporary dance. We get to these gorgeous fans as props to improve their performance even better. They ate this song and paid their respect to the original one. When I watched this, I got tears and goosebumps because I feel I'm back to the classic era and it feels like I'm being welcomed by the Heavens. Add the fact that all of my worries about them disappeared because I'm worried that others won't check it out because they used 1st gen. song because let's be honest most of the new kpop fans aren't that open listening in the old music and the way this song is controversial, the N word, but it all turned out that I was worried for nothing because Golden Child served us Heaven (with their vocals and graceful dance) and the rappers: TAG and Jangjun changing the whole rap part with their own lyrics, to discard the controversial N word, we love WOKE KINGS. Even though RTK has ended I still find myself coming back for this legendary performance

I feel like 97% of the kpop groups nowadays can go hard on a dance, and execute it perfectly. But rarely do we get the chance to see kpop groups, especially boy groups, doing modern dance so in-sync, so flawless... I wish with this performance Golcha could trigger some sort of trend in Kpop. I would certainly love to see their next comeback with this kind of concept!

They made the song their own at the same time paying respect to Shinhwa by not altering it to the extent. Also their vocals shine and the choreo lit.

Golden Child really has a very good taste in music. They don't go with the usual hype and noisy songs. In every performances, you can see the members showcasing their personal talent like how Youngtaek showed his flexibility, Joochan and his violin skills, Y with those high notes. If Golden Child didn't get e-worded, I wonder who will show his talent next and surprise even us, the fans. Like even if I knew Youngtaek is flexible, I was still surprised with what he did. Lmao. Golden Child can indeed live up to their name. 🎳

to those people saying they lipsync haha they must know that golcha sing live since debut and even on big events they sing live including the mash up of 4 songs on the dream con they sing that live. and even their choreographer asking them why they can sing live even with a hard choreo. So, since no one seems to be talking about it: the two-tone harmonize by Donghyun and Y was absolutely awesome. It's not easy to harmonize especially while dancing, I've also seen more than enough 'people' to fail it, either the coordination or they just couldn't make it sound good, because of the different color of ones voice. It's really not an easy thing to do and for that I wanna say wow. They did friggin great, the whole song was awesome, in visuals, the dancing, vocals. (Also please appreciate my boy Seungmin a bit more please thank you. (　＾∇＾))

I realized every member has their own signature gesture that almost appears on every GolCha stage that its their own habit. The way JooChan & Y gesture hand... JangTag Rap gesture... Smooth body wave Jaehyun... Daeyeol hand too... They have their own gesture that somehow appears automatically when their part... Its hard to explain but I can feel it...

To think that dayeol was initially in dance line. And donghyun used to be not confident with his voice. And bongjae was never brave enough to sing that loud. And youngtaek's flexibility and dance ability were sometimes forgotten. And bomin was a crybaby visual maknae. And Y was self-proclaimed rabbit who forgot that he's actually a swan. And joochan's never ending love for choi yongpil sunbaenim. And jibeom was zibeom. And seungmin was a 2m bird. And jangjun, a comedienne with side job as idol. Yep, I feel whole. Q_Q

우연히 봤는데 원곡은 원곡대로 살리면서 2020년대 느낌 물씬 나게 현대적으로 편곡잘했고 부채로 백조의 날개 형상화하다가 부채춤에 깜짝놀람... 클래식과 한국전통 접목시킨 예술감각에 무릎탁 누가 구성한건지 하나하나 정성이네요👏👏👏

I read some people questioning whether they sang it live or not.. Yes, they sang it live. They trained to do live singing while dancing. It's Woollim tradition and trademarks.. You may check their brother Infinite. They cover Shinhwa T.O.P too.. They sang it live.. I know somehow some people questioning why they are so stable. Then assume they use pre-record and lip sync to it. But, believe it or not, they sing it live. You may see their concert performance with live band in their official channel youtube: Golden Child or Woolliment. They are really good..

The fact that Golcha won a lot of people's heart with this, is already a big win. Its a pity this beautiful and ethereal performance can't be on a higher rank that it deserve. Nevertheless, this will always be the standout and a performance that touches my heart. Golden child will always be number 1 in Goldenness' heart. Cheer up Goldenness the competition is still not over. Let this be a motivation. Golden Child will work harder and so are we. Yting!!!

Crying thinking their debut song is cheerful and boyish DamDaDi, then cameback with soft sexy Wannabe and Without You. Watched 90 seconds of them being powerful sexy. And now this. Never thought I needed elegant GolCha. My heart melts.

LOL honestly I love the way people questioning "they're lipsync". All woollim groups got the same sentence, cs people can't believing stable vocals. Why? Do you rarely listen to amazing vocals? How often have you listened to idols that can sing louder than the music? I stan woollim artists since 2015, somehow I couldn't believe at the beginning. Thanks to them, now easier for me to recognize lipsync / stable vocals.

the vocals are rare gems. let us also appreciate the choreo. this choreo is hard yet it slaps. the change of slow to fast choreo is hard yet so satifying! Seeing them in sync on this arrangement i can say they really deserve to be well known group! Good Luck Boys!

All this time i was like, "Why there are comments praising Tag's flexibility? What did he do?" Stupid me came to realize that the solo part with the fan and all the kicking was Tag... all this time i thought it was Jangjun after all the kicking on that footsal (volleyball thing using your feet) last ISAC 2018, i don't even bother looking at his face ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

By looking at the votes that they given to GolCha, it clearly shows that K-pop industry in male section focused on dark concepts that shows strong vibes, emotions and dance. As for golcha, it seems like woollim wants the boys to trace their roots back when Infinite was really huge (yes, prime Infinite..2012 - 2015), and what I meant is they want the boys bringing back the elegant concepts like Paradise, The Chaser, Last Romeo and Back. Btw, this is my opinion only, nonetheless I'm looking forward for the nxt cb! I'm really gonna get into Golden Child during RTK, this performance was so elegantly beautiful and stunning. Although it wasn't as masculine as others GC's performance really stood out to me because it was so different and refreshing seeing this kind of styling on a boy group. (I could also be biased because I'm a ballerina myself and I love white costumes, it makes a performance look really clean)

honestly if woollim promoted golden child a little bit better they would gotten the recognition they deserved by now. we need consistent comebacks, more fan-involvement activities and more variety show appearances!! i hope road to kingdom will make gcnd more well-known to the public
