Nice rig and nice setup. I've done a lot of electrical wiring on my 1000R and have been running it over a year in all kinds of environment and weather. Now, I'm not dissing your work at all, just want to offer some experience here. First, you need to run back to NAPA and invest in some electrical teminal protector spray and battery connector spray. While all your wiring is shiny new is the time to do this. Give all your connection points a good coating of this spray to protect from the environment. I have the same marine fuse block that you are using, but I mounted it right up against the firewall. I have the Kenimoto mud protection kit (highly recommend) which adds a layer of protection between the front suspension and the firewall. Where you have your components located is going to get crazy wet, dirty and muddy. You should also buy a tube of dielectric grease and cover the ports on that fuse box, otherwise you'll have water inside it first creek you cross. Thank you for your video, your work is very professional looking, but these Talons offer little to no protection for wiring in the front.
I should have covered that, Thank you for the feedback. All terminals have dielectric grease on them, and all threads have been coated in anti-seize. The test ports on the fuses and spare fuses have all been covered in a film of gasket maker to waterproof the "live" parts. I chose the location for easy access rather than having to remove the windshield and cowl for a blown fuse. Every circuit is running thru a sealed Bosch relay inline between the fuse and switch, which are sealed as well. All connections are marine grade heat shrink and butt splices are soldered and sealed connections. The video covered the basic routing and design. Thank you for the feedback and response. I believe you are right a94cobra, I believe I got my solenoid designation mixed up with my resistors. Nice catch, that may help someone out. Thank you. It works really well, and since the video, we learned that the Blue will trigger thru the trickle charger to keep both battery's at full charge, so It worked really well. Thank you for watching.
@@adventuresofjasonjulie8993 and I mounted my fuse block right where you did. Never seen anyone else do that. Mine is closer to the drivers side. Kinda bulges the hood ever so slightly.
