A huge variety of different trucks in this video taken on the Great Northern Highway north of Bindoon in Western Australia You’ll see #kenworth #mack #volvotrucks #mercedestruck #freightliner #scania
Greetings here and from the State of Santa Catarina/ Brazil, I speak from the city of Tijucas SC. Beautiful trucks that you have there, here in Brazil we also have the bi-train trucks, road train trucks and the forestry or sugarcane hexatrain.
Is there a hookup yard near this location? I see a lot of trucks pulls a dolly behind the first trailer. The rigs are amazing. Nice variety again and the oversize loads are mighty. I love the two push/pull setups. We hear a few friendly honks too, the truckies likes your presence. Great video as always Phil. There was bigger traffic this time, the holiday season is over.
The dollys would be heading to the hook up yard at Wubin, 190 kilometres up the road from this location. The Wubin road train assembly area is in my Road Trains video published on the 25th of November. At Wubin the max allowable Iength changes from 36.5 metres to 53.5 metres.
BOM DIA AMIGOS !!!!! - COMUNIDADE DO JACAREZINHO-RJ-BRASIL , DESEJA A TODOS UM FELIZ ANO !! .OBRIGADO PELAS IMAGEM BELAS DESSES GRANDE VEÍCULOS QUE TRAFEGAM POR ESSAS INFIDÁVEIS ESTRADAS AUSTRALIANAS. MUITO SHOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just one SCANIA.... 🤨 Why are they not popular? Europe trucks - VOLVO, MERCEDES have a lot. Big and powerful Scania with V8 would be excellent truck on Australian roads.. 💪🤘 MACK, Kenworth, Freightliner - out of competition!! 👍👍 Unique and beautifully fit into this landscape like kangaroos. 🤠🤩✌
European trucks have always been popular in Australia but Kenworths are the most common for road trains and heavy duty use. There are a lot of Volvos also as they build trucks in Australia that are adapted to the Australian conditions such as heavy loads, long distances and very hot temperatures.
Kenworth, Mack, Freightliner, Volvo & SCANIA are the majority of the trucks in Australia, because they are excellent for heavy duty tasks in harsh conditions. MAN & Mercedes are not good trucks, in just less than 500,000 Km of duty they will be completely useless.
Pozdrawiam.
Not so! Driving on the left side is how it's done in Australia, and it's just MAGIC. Driving on the right side is absolutely horrid, but if that's what you like, you're welcome to it. We don't want that shit here.
US 18 wheelers are fucking only toy Tonka trucks 😂😂 Look up the Cattapillar in north WA. Now That is a truck. 2 of them running in 3 X8 hour shifts 24/7. This another great video. Thanks heaps.
@@henrymichaelwilson8107 you can look into my about in my profile you going to see my email there so you can get me a text with that if only thats cool with you hun
Some of these Australian freightliners Macks and Kenworth Trucks are identical to their US Canada Market Models. In the Northeastern US NYSTA and Mass Pike systems these Road trains will get expensive tolls and have to use an assembly point like Ardsley and Sloatsburg I-87 Exit 15 I-287 South Morristown Somerville New Brunswick. Lastly Ripley NY Exit 61 Thruway.
Most are pretty much the same trucks as sold in other parts of the world. Some locally assembled models have beefed up cooling systems and a few other mods for Australian long haul applications.
I am in Victoria and I have never seen a Toll truck over here moving bulk commodity trailers or these trailers painted in the Company colours, yet there are several in this video. I would be interested to know what they transport over there, the trailers look like they may be for grain.
im a retired american trucker. ive pulled triples in the mountains of the west coast for 30 years. ive went everrywhere they asked me to go. ive had the living shit scared out of me so many times i cant remember most. ive had my sets spin around 360 degrees so many times in the middle of the highway it seems ridiculous. Ive ALWAYS wanted to run the Austrailian road trains. i grew up 5 blocks from Kenworth. id give ANYTHING to run a big train acrossed the outback. id pay all my own travel and do it for free. i met an italian gentleman one time that had actually done it. he said it was a 3 man team. the passenger seat was always filled with a man with a shotgun ready to shoot "roos" . i guess they end up in the radiator and shut the trucks down in the middle of nowhere. wow. I wanna do that. If you know anyone who may give me a drive test let me know. im serious! i know many american truckers who want the sa,me thing. im a good mechanic. the us army says im an 'expert' rifleman. how fun would that be!!!!! omg!
So you find a Gympie (sledge) hammer on the side of the road. Did you just see it or did you hear it. I see you are standing much further away from the edge of the road after the discovery LOL nice vid keep up the good work. Sometime I still miss the Wubin RT assembly yard But got to retire sometime
I just saw it there, it could have been there for a while. There’s so much stuff on the side of the road it’s incredible. Pieces of pipe and various bits of metal. Glad you liked the video, I’m heading to Wubin again soon to get some triples action!
1:49: Is it normal that sometimes, when the second trailer is uncoupled, the dolly stays attached to the back of the first trailer? 6:17: I thought Roadtrains are just your typical 3-axle tractors. But I already see that imported tractors from New Zealand, whose axle configuration is 4 axles (the common one in that country), is beginning to appear in Australia without me realizing it or knowing it. The New Zealand thing was to speak without knowing. Maybe it's Australian built and has that 4 axle setup.
Common trailer types I'm seeing over here is Link trailers, trailer on a trailer. And these Truckies be driving with Trailers attached to dolly Trailers attached to Trailers attached to Truck.
New subscriber. Must have been during the drought, unless those are wheat fields on those hills. No thanks. I have enough fun hauling Hazmat in a 53 foot dry box OTR in the winter here 🥶🚛🛢️📦💸
no idea where to ask so I put it here... a friend lives in Canberra & told me Rossi are better than Blundstone. is this true? I live in Pennsylvania(PA) b's are available here but not R's. She said she'll ship me a pair if I want.
I had a chance to go down under and drive truck trains but didn't for two reasons 1st can't drive right hand drive truck , living all my life in the states driving left hand drive trucks.. 2nd I thought I would have to give up my U.S. statice to do so, but later found out I wouldn't have to. When pulling 2 trailers are they 45'-or 48' trailers, and how many can be pulled legally..??
We use meters in Australia but they vary from what would be 43’ - 53’ and commercial trucks can have up too 4 and mining trucks have have 3 sets of B-doubles. It’s a very hard land, if you break down you might not see a person for a good 2-4 days depending where u are
@@ohnostepbro6916 Thank You for the reply.. Yeah I knew about the break down situation I also have worked on trucks n heavy equipment too I drove for 25+yrs retired now and thanks again for the reply " Mate "
