We took our new travels pillows on our first road trip of the summer!
Final dimensions (including any seam allowance):
The pillow was 16 x 16 inches.
The pocket was 13x16.
The top flap was 8.5 and the bottom half was 9.5 by 16 inches (I recommend making these longer. The seam allowance on all pillow pieces was half an inch.
The blankets ended up being about 1 yard by 41 inches. No seam allowance on the blankets as I bound the edges with bias tape.
For the handles, I cut about 14 inches of 1 inch nylon webbing. The seam allowance on the handles was 1 inch.
Leaf and Yard is a one-woman show. I am the script writer, director, performer, camera operator, light designer, gaffer, sound mixer, composer, music performer, animator, illustrator, title designer, editor, transcriber, and cat wrangler. All music composed, performed, and mixed by me except Londonderry Air (1855) and Ghoid iad mo bhean uam an reir (1784), which are traditional, public domain folk tunes, arranged and performed by me, with accompanying frame drum percussion composed and performed by me (we should be noticing a trend here!). Accurate closed captions will be provided within a few days of uploading.
