We are taking the white Acty Kei truck on a road trip to the Driver Motorsports Fall Open House in Virginia. Driver Motorsports is a reputable JDM car sales and tuner shop. They import the finest JDM vehicles and offer full service maintenance and upgrade work, from cosmetic modifications to full blown engine builds.
Since the red truck is not a roller, we have decided to strap all the powder coated parts onto our spare Honda Acty and take it with us. We get a chance to check out “The Tuning Wizard” Josh Ray’s Daihatsu Hijet, who we are facing off with in a friendly tiny truck competition. Over several episodes, we are documenting the process so that you can see what it takes to make this Honda K24 motor swap happen. This has been attempted by few and there are not many details out there to help the DIY kei truck k swap enthusiasts. We hope to shed light on the challenges and solutions of this process so that anyone with the desire to take this on has a fighting chance with minimal struggle.
