Kelly Young , kind words of advice . Don’t walk up to the edge of cliffs here in the Pacific North West . They are ALL undercut from weather. The ground will fall out from under you . No one wants that to happen !

I've always been leery of walking up to any cliff edge for the same reason. I could even see someone having nightmares about that happening to them or a loved one, lol. Gorgeous scenery up there though.

I had to go to Oregon a few months ago for work. It was a beautiful state but with Covid and all, there wasn’t much to do. Definitely a Temperature change from North Carolina.

Depoe Bay is one of my favorite places and Gracie's was an excellent choice. The inlet can be intimidating. Power and timing is everything. I hope you enjoyed our little bit of heaven here. There is a reason it's called the 'Left Coast' though.

👍 ! You will have to go to southern Oregon/ northern California and see the redwoods when you get a chance , they're huge and will definitely blow you away ! The Charleston area around Coos Bay , Oregon is very cool also ! Love your enthusiasm and adventurous way , keep 'em coming !!!

Thats probably one of the many christmas tree farms of the pacific northwest i worked at hoffers tree farm up outside of olympia Washington back in the late 70s harvasting christmas trees great job for a kid back then !!!

I’ve ask so done the 10 mile trek and it’s gorgeous with all the waterfalls and the only time I’ve seen dwarf iris’s, they were like 1-2” tall. This area is also my favorite place to celebrate octoberfest in Mt Angel. It’s very authentic with all the German style themed homes and businesses.

I've lived in Oregon my whole life. Newport is my favorite town to visit on the coast and that fish shack is my favorite place to eat. So good!

Awesome views. I took my sons there 3 years ago. Had a great time! Oregon is one of my favorite states. You should have fished for sturgeon on the Columbia river in the summer. What a great time that was!

I grew up in Salem Oregon, we used to go to Newport in the summers to fish for Salmon. I spent a lot of time at Silver Creek falls when I started driving. Oregon is a beautiful state. I moved to Florida after I retired from the Military. We are blessed to live in such a great country.

If you like the Pacific Northwest, you would be amazed in Southeast Alaska. Springtime is best, you should check out Sockeye salmon fishing on the Copper River, wild caught Sockeye salmon is the best tasting fish on the planet when processed right, it has to be bled, gutted, and put on ice immediately. Alaska in spring through early summer is the greenest place on earth. Your video was great, and your wonderment at the nature was fun to watch. Thanks Kelly.

Such a gorgeous place. I sure wish we had mountains, cliffs, and gorges here in central Florida. But ya can't beat our Florida winters! We get cold when it dips into the 40's & 50's........lol.

The boat at 10:25 is called a Dory boat, They launch off of the surf at Pacific city beach north of where you are at. Summertime they have a kayak fishing tournament that goes through the Depoe bay inlet. Depoe bay is pretty scary because mornings can be glass and afternoons can be super rough coming back in.

Cabazon also known as the mother in-law fish. Taste like scallops. You visited where I grew up. We got the big herds of Christmas trees!!! I commercial fish out of newport and live in toledo the dairy queen you drove past leaving newport.

Wow, you guys had a blast in our back yard...... we were hoping you were going down the Oregon Coast, but maybe next time you will come see the best part of the Oregon Coast? That would be from Crescent City California all the way up to Port Orford - which is the furthest you can go on land in the lower 48 states of the USA.
