ARNE & CARLOS thank you for the link to this lovely shop, lots of beautiful photos. I hope she gets many orders for yarn! Thank you for taking us along on your journey!
I love these outings--feel like I've been on a field trip, but better. Northern Norway is beautiful! Wonder what it looks like in winter. Thank you so much for including us, your viewers.
I LOVE your virtual road trip! Thank you for sharing these beautiful places with us! Your videos have really kept so many of us going during this difficult year. Thank you for you!
So many videos to catch up on. This one is particularly wonderful. The sheep, the adorable shop owner, and all the important facts of the area, and the yarn. Thank you for keeping these on line.
Little independent shops always have the nicest fiber. Thank you for taking us along! I loved how Carlos just melted at the lambs, it was nice to see his softer side. Arne, you look so happy. 😁
Thank you so much for the videos of your vacation. I feel so peaceful and calm after watching your happy videos. I love the respectful way you speak to each other and the lovely people you see. I have never knitted with real wool. So much more beautiful than the acrylics available here.
I can't remember who or where.. but there is an island in Scotland where the sheep eat seaweed.. and that has a ? 'good effect' on the wool they make... and the people take the sheep out there for the winter and bring them home in spring.. (I think) xx
Love the sheep so cute. Arne you were just struck with yarn she had. Countryside so pretty. Your video so short I want to see more so I can settle in and drink a coffee. Love you guys. Brambleknits
Hi ArneCarlos Those sheep really look happy and friendly. The landscape is so lush. You are very lucky. Lockdown has been worth it don't you think? to give us all time to appreciate the world around us.
What a wonderful visit. The countryside is beautiful and that shop was absolutely adorable.Thank for taking us, too. You guys look very happy and relaxed.
Thank you for this cute relaxing time in a beautiful place. So peaceful! I would love to meet this lady and her sheep, visit her shop. Your next project.....colorful steering wheel cover🥰.
I almost cried watching your road trip today. I am so tired of isolation. But watching these last videos cheered me up. So beautiful, so relaxing. If this pandemic ever ends I must blow some money and visit Lofoten. Must. Thank you guys very much!
So lovely! This is the best trip ever and I loooove the sheep and the fantastic yarn store. I love the rustic look and it is also so cozy. The lady is so nice and has a calm voice and is so gentle in her ways ..... wonderful. You guys, we have been baking and sweating here in Germany the past 2 weeks ( 36° C and more and very very humid) and I wish I could be travelling with you in the cooler realm of this earth. What a wonderful place this is, Lofoten! Must be paradise. :-)
Loved it, the adorable sheep, I want some. lol....Not in Denver but how wonderful to walk outside and greet these beautiful creatives. Happy travelers too.
How wonderful! The happy sheep were truly adorable, especially Vega and Freja. I really loved seeing what the sheep look like and then seeing their wool spun up. I'm so enjoying our trip!
I am loving this summer trip series! I have absolutely fallen in love with all things Norwegian, thanks to you both, so travelling there (eventually!) is on my bucket list. Hope you guys are having fun and feeling well.
I like your vacation tour! I looked up Lofoten Wool on the Internet. The site has the option to translate into English, so that was good. Maybe Arne will show off his socks made from the black wool he bought at the shop? Storm? I like how life seems simpler on that island. The owner of the sheep and the wool shop's boyfriend has different sheep. They both shear their sheep, and sell plus dye some of the yarn. I liked how calm, and genuine the shop owner was. Good choice to visit her! On to Part 5!
Always an inspiration. This makes me want to start spinning wool from happy sheep..such beautiful country.so peaceful. Thank you for sharing another part of your journey. It makes me wish my great grandparents would have stayed in Norway!!!But I'm happy they at least settled near lake Michigan. ❣❣❣
How lovely! Love those happy and very friendly sheep, as well as Ragnhild's beautiful shop. Very excited to learn more from her about dyeing. Happy holidays Arne & Carlos xx
A fascinating video, and such an interesting and informative shop. I learnt a lot about wool. That it's an animative product with a unique personality created by habitat and nature and not just an anonymous coloured ball of ply. Thank you.
Thank you for taking us on this delightful virtual vacation. I am enjoying every minute, as well as the opportunity to learn new information about yarn.
Another fantastic episode! I just adore that natural black and pumpkin/burnt umber colour together (she called it yellow). I cannot wait for the next episode! 💙💙💜xxx
Wonderful! Loved the landscape and all the information on the yarn and sheep- how lucky you are to have been visiting the Lofoten Islands - thanks again
Thank you so much for doing this roadtrip in beautiful Norway! My daughter is in fifth grade and got excited about Norway after reading about the country at school this spring. We were actually planning to take a trip to Norway this summer (we live in Finland), but because of the coronasituation... Well, maybe next year! So happy to get to see a bit of the country with you guys! Lovely sheep too. Do show us more yarn shops, please.
Beautiful country, so peaceful. Reminds me of the Farmland in my country, the Azores. Love your travel videos. Have a lot of fun and be safe from the virus.
I enjoyed this video so much, but then I enjoy all of them. If I were a lot younger and had the space and facilities I’d love to produce wool with natural colours. Chemical dyes have their place, but if you want colours of great warmth and vitality there’s no substitute for the naturals. I hope your own Freya is doing well.
Now I’m really wanting to go to Norway! My daughter that lives in Amsterdam called and I said that now I need to go to Lofengen.......she’s the one that gave me your Christmas balls book.........and she said.......is that where the guys are now.......hahaha
