Yes, another road trip for us as we hire a van and drive across Europe to Poland. This is where the complete engine refurb is going to take place. We tackle other small projects on a boat as soon as we return home.
Oh man those Blake’s seacocks looked in great condition, no pink I could see. Shame they had to be cut out. You can buy new Blake’s but they are not like the old Blake’s which cleaned and serviced are the best. I imagine you will go with Tru Design when replacing which seem good as well. Andy UK
Yes Andy, that one you saw here looked great. But I have to say that out of all of them a couple of handles snapped in our fingers when trying to open/close them, ALL of them were badly ceased. If we did buy blakes I am sure we would do regular maintenance hence we probably wouldn’t come across same problems, but they are no longer as good as they used to be (now they are made of DZR & bronze components) and they are still very dear. You guessed it! We are going with Tru Design 😊
