So in the installation directions it specifically says that the f150 has a plate on the springs and the RAS should be against the spring and not the plate. I found it impossible to have it sit on the spring as I tensioned it, and I noticed you have your bolt with the sleeve resting under that plate as well. Have you had any issues with installing it this way?
Hey, I have f150 2021 and about 500kg extra load on the trunk and I use the car a lot for off roading,could you please tell me what's the best solution for the leafs that give's (more high-More weight bearing-Better off road performance).
Yes, it’ll cause issues. The spacer offsets the bump stop so that it doesn’t grind against the RAS. Without it there isn’t enough clearance, and the bump will scrape the side of the clamp when it comes down.
Installation of this kit will likely raise the ride height at the rear about 3/4" to 1.5", depending on your final spring adjustment.The spacer will make up for the increase.
