Let's unbox a Roadpro 12V Portable Stove and try cooking some fresh fish in it. This appliance is marked 12V 12A but it's not. The amperage is actually higher than stated on the box. Roadpro 12V Portable Stove on Amazon - amzn.to/2QdKg0j Schumacher Power Station on Amazon - amzn.to/39Z3u0n
These small appliances only use 180 watts and are great for cooking on the road. They are great for RV cooking, van cooking, car cooking, and also great if you have a portable power station with a 12V outlet. They are small, portable, and light weight so they are easy to travel with. They are also excellent prepping gear.

To help keep box clean, I suggest lining inside with aluminum foil. That way, if it leaks, it doesn't make a mess in the oven.

Quick tip... If you want this to cook hotter & it's summer time, an extension cord would help you set it out under the sun & over asphalt or other hot chrome sufaces.

Lots of good info here. I also live near a Pilot and have wondered about the appliances they sell. Glad to see this review. 👍

Allways make shure that the 12v output is around 13.5 amph that way you will be able to use any apliance. Were are the chips. I allways have chips and garnish with lemeon juice. Gerard.

Definitely sounds like something that would be great for travelers. Let us know how easy it was to clean up. Do you travel a lot? You seem to have a lot of traveling gear.

You could try doing spring rolls, since you done the spring rolls in an griddle, for an comparison. Gerard.

I tried spring rolls, they weren't perfect, but it did cook them slightly crisp on 1 side. They would have been better if I turned them a couple times.

I have a 2015 Honda Pilot and the cig port says 12V 120W max. Will the roadpro work?
@CounterCooking
@CounterCooking 2 года назад
No. It needs at least 180w.

@@CounterCooking Thanks for responding back. Now, is there an adaptor or something that can amplify they amps? Or like a converter or something? All I want to use it for is for like 5 minutes when I simply want to rehead a burritto.
@CounterCooking

@@jeffreywhitaker5154 I think you're better off getting a hot logic. They sell 12V versions. They use about 45 watts. They take a bit longer to heat something up but they are not going to fry your outlet/port. Here's the link on Amazon if you would like to check it out and read the reveiws - amzn.to/3AuKpRI

@@CounterCooking WOW! Interesting! Thanks for your response and advice. I think Im going to take it. Like I said all I want to use it for is to re heat a sandwich or burritto. Thanks!

Interesting! Do you run your car for the entire cooking time then? Thanks for the video :)
@CounterCooking
@CounterCooking 2 года назад
Yes. Unless you use a 9V to AC converter. Then you can plug it into a regular outlet or mini generator.

Seems like, since it easily leaks, will run down battery if vehicle not running, and mfg states not to use in moving vehicle, it's a useless product.

You will destroy the battery in your jump box if you use it for this appliance unless it contains a lithium battery !
