@Dzztzt Different Republicans wake up at different times. My friend’s ex-husband watched one Trump vs Hillary debate and said, “I have to vote for her. She’s the only adult in the room.” Others turned against him over his mishandling the pandemic. Still more went to Democrats after they saw him set up false electors and incite the insurrection at the Capitol. Now some are noticing how insane his speeches sound. It’s different things that make different people realize he is unfit for office.

Been there myself once. Not something I would want to go through again. Fortunately, the wildland fire crews worked what I call, a miracle. Be prepared. Have a plan in place and equipment/ resources available.

I saw a morning show segment once where a guest was trying to convince people that they shouldn't eat lobsters because they are scavengers ("the cockroaches of the sea" was the phrase used). My immediate response to the TV was that if cockroaches were that big and tasted that good, we'd be eating them too.
Start posting recipes for goose, duck, goat, and sheep. One of the drawbacks of solar agriculture is that there’s not a huge demand for goat and sheep meat in the states.
@@mattgriewahn8554 That might be because both mutton and goat stink while cooking. It’s also good to have something acidic or at least tart or “springy” with them to help cut the greasiness. One “recipe” I remember and recommend from my food-insecure rustic youth is fried goat (over a grill to let the grease get away) with a side of boiled nettles (cooking them makes the stinging parts nonfunctional).

As theirs is naturally much slower than ours, they sync with ours,(herd response) then slow both! This info was recently from a study on why they're so good at therapy!Hopefully it'll be better after election, but we're happy with Dana or Brian, or heck, try AI ,lol. Re: NASDAQ halting trading (twice) of a minor social media company for five-minute cooling-off periods on Sep 13: this is _routine_ procedure when major news emerges regarding the stock (in this case, tRump announced he was not going to sell his shares, so the stock shot up). The temporary pause gives emotion-fueled investors a few minutes to cool off. It is _normal_ standard procedure and happens frequently. If tRump had _any_ understanding of how the market works, he'd know that, and wouldn't be taking a routine event as a personal attack. Sigh.

Such halts are mandated by federal regulators and have been in place since 2013 across the entire US exchange listed stock market. Single-stock trading pauses, AKA, ‘Limit up/Limit down,’ are SEC-mandated and designed to protect both companies and investors, to minimize excess volatility in a single stock or the wider market. Trump’s threat to move his stock from Nasdaq to NYSE would have no effect since both Nasdaq and NYSE both follow the same SEC rules. Simply put, It's a rule to prevent Rug Pulls, but I'm sure Donald is aware of this.
That halt to trading only benefited HIM! It temporarily stopped the slide to Zero! Maybe he's right and they should have just let it tank. He apparently wants another financial catastrophe. (I think he collects them like commemorative coins, ya know, the worthless ones.)

" sadly, no. the stock had dipped to about 18$ which was a low, but wasn't sliding that fast. then trump said publicly he wouldn't sell his shares next week and that started a rebound. apparently the price was going up when it was stopped. currently it's about 19$. it's rebounded from about 20$ before a couple times, this news from him might send it back up when the market opens again monday. keep in mind most analysts don't think it's worth more than 5$ at most. if trump loses in nov, we will almost certainly see it plummet to under 10$.
As much as I miss Beau and I still have thousands of videos left in my watch list; Its nice having more staff members. I want to know EVERYONE involved; I want to hear everyone voices and contributions so its not all on a single person's shoulders to get burned out and obsess over painful and dark news. Beau is like batman; he is no longer a person he is an icon; a cowl for everyone to wear. It's hard to explain the impact that truth has compared to the spin that was made in the information age. With Beau of the Fifth and all the side channels and side segments; I don't feel attacked, I don't feel talked down too, I don't feel duped or tricked or taken advantage of. It doesn't feel like someone is trying to channel and deflect my anger in a direction that they want. I loved learning about American History instead of American Mythology; it reminded me of Cracked in a weird way. I love getting up in the morning and checking this channel and CBC news. PS: Please don't get ridden hard and put away wet. It wasn't till the montage videos did I realize just how difficult of a job it was, and I ended up crying more then I like to admit.

And all of all people Cancun Cruz who left his dog to freeze is sharing pet protection memes. The very people who want to arm teachers are calling in threats to schools. What a world.

I watched the local news episode. I really liked it. Just as all politics is local, local events really do influence things on a national level, as even the fake news of people eating pets in one small town shows. All the stories covered were interesting.
☝🏼…whoa, crazy that so many people whimpering snobs! Fried squirrels and frog legs too…also, I knew several people that survived WWII…nothing was left moving in cities…in fact a whole lot of shrubbery and “ weeds”, became salad and soup. My Mom used to say that the fat globules floating on top of “ soup” ( term used loosely), were jokingly called “ steaks”. Survival techniques often utilize gallows humor!
Stupid story, but here it is. -- & it does emphasize that animals look different without their... _"outerwear"_ on. We are a Southern family. My father wasn't a big hunter. He'd duck hunt every year or two with my mother's brothers and, for a time, he _used_ to squirrel hunt. I remember my grandmother making us squirrel & dumplings. Til this one evening he came Home from a hunting trip with a "mess of squirrels." Mother, my older & younger sister & ~3yo me were all outside in the backyard playing when he got Home. He & Mother talked for a bit, but it was getting dark, so Mother herded the three of us _(she thought)_ into the house, as Papa headed to get the squirrels from the car and his cooler of "cleaning supplies" from the shop. I was a "father's girl" -- & must be kin to Kipling's Elephant's Child when it comes to _"'satiable curiosity."_ He had his back to me, and was mostly sat between me & his ... _"work space." So he didn't realize i'd followed him & was watching from the corner of the house while he began "dressing" the squirrels under the light of the carport & i could only see part of the one he was working on. I watched for a bit. I had questions... But Papa was obviously busy. So i went to the back door & knocked [i couldn't reach the knob] Mother was surprized to find me on the stoop -- she'd been looking for me in the house, getting us prepped for our bath. She started with,"There you are --" But before she got any further, or could bring me inside -- i needed to be outside -- in case i needed to _show_ her what i was asking -- i asked my question: *_"Mother, why is Papa taking those kittens out of their pretty little dresses?"_* And the world stopped. Mother is a fast thinker, a practical woman & generally did not lie to us, though sometimes she used half-truths to scoot past unpleasantness she thought we were too young for. She told me, "He's cleaning them." then bundled me in for bath time, trying to distract & change the subject before i told my sisters, who would want to see. Mother told Papa what i'd asked. _The image & interpretation stuck in his head and Papa never went squirrel hunting again._ [Of course, I knew what squirrels were by that time, but i also knew they were wild animals & wouldn't have tolerated Papa handlng them. As i said, Papa was sat with his back to me, between me his task, so i only saw part of the one he was working on -- just enough to interpret what i saw into _pseudosense._ And, yes, their fur was odd for felines...but maybe that's why they needed changing?]

It's about the only thing that Trump actually did for this country: complete polarization. You are either completely with him, or completely against him. With any other candidates whatsoever, that should make him happy I guess. Fortunately, I find myself in the latter camp
Trump and his team had a plan for the Harris debate which worked for almost 30 minutes, before Trump went off the rails. My over/under was for 15 minutes.
Vance might want to be careful about vilifying a town in his Own state though. Ohio went for Obama in 2008 and 2012. It could happen for VP Harris, too.
Good advice about large animals. My niece, a horse owner in Southern Oregon was part of a group that volunteered pasturage and barns that were not in the fire path for temporarily displaced animals They also had volunteers with livestock trailers to help move endangered livestock.
Rolling the history piece in this show is a good call, I think. More voices and faces in the channel would be really cool too, but the branding is a pickle.
State news is exceptionally important. Many people don’t know what’s happening in their state. It’s just not covered. Plus as was recently learned with governor Waltz some states are doing some things right. We all need to see that so we can push for things to be done right in our state.
