This is such an amazing, underrated film. Despite the vast majority of it being spoken in a different language, the animation and the plot are really well developed. It has loveable characters and some really great songs. It's a Disney movie that not many people recognise. I believe that anyone could enjoy this movie, if they can learn to read subtitles.
It was a failed hindi movie that Disney made that "technically" wasn't available in the US but obviously thanks to youtube you can watch it, it's like an hour and 30 some minutes long
Guys! I'm writing a letter to Bollywood soon to make a Roadside Romeo DVD. I asked them to have Sadhguru as one of the characters! Dear Bollywood, I am a 15 year old American teen male. I am a fan of the movie Roadside Romeo. I was wondering if you could make a sequel to Roadside Romeo, and bring the cast back. Invite me to write the plot. I was thinking that it starts off with Romeo and Laila on a date at a fancy vegetarian restaurant, while Guru and his gang have left the untouchable caste, and changed their names to more Hindu names. With Guru to Neeraj, Interval to Yatendra, Mini to Inzali, Hero English to Gautama. Meanwhile, Charlie Anna has become Buddhist, and is influenced by Bhartrhari and the Dalai Lama. They have been invited by a Guru known as Dharmendra (me) who lives up in a remote area, smokes cannabis in Chillums, and eats flowers, and fruit, to speak with the team about the danger of China, their laws and the control over Tibet. They are sent on a mission, and Dharmendra says- शिव की शक्ति से इस टीम को शक्ति दी जाएगी शांति के लिए लड़ने के लिए बुद्ध और शिव के मार्ग का पालन करें मुक्ति देगी काली माँ The team is sent to China to battle with Xi Jinping, who is about to burn records of an independent Tibet. Sadhguru fires his beard to tie up Xi’s hands to a wall, but Xi escapes. “Do it, Charlie!”. Charlie summons a storm with his power, and gets a curry bowl in his hand, then the storm is gone and he just eats the curry. “Maybe we should have picked a better superpower for you, Charlie.”, Romeo says. In the middle of the battle, Romeo will say to Laila “Laila, I hope we survive. If we do…. Will you marry me?”, and she says yes. After they defeat Xi Jinping, they go to a Hindu temple, where the wedding priest Bodidharma (Sadhguru) makes a wedding speech for the couple, and we also meet Dopinder (Prabhas), a cousin of Romeo, and his wife Gita (Swathi). -Braden Hendrickson
Roadside Romeo is such a great movie and if they don't make a English dub of this film I should make a petition to Disney to make an English dub of this movie.
@Brauiz90 I noticed, too - when she has long hair and leaves it down, you can see her ears (a bit longer than Romeo's). When she has her long hair up and after it's cut short, you can't see them anymore. I imagine it's just the hairstyle hiding them, but it's still odd.
5:26 All this partying, and I just feel sorry for Chanu. He goes through so much abuse, and so much shit all for his boss. And the only scene where he could be himself and actually have a good time was in the "Cool Cool" song. Poor guy, I just want to adopt him and give him a proper meal.

@iamloveCynder It does. I looked up Laila in Hindi on a Google translator. It looked identical, save for the fact that Romeo had the writing stylized to look like hearts at some points.
I had absolutely massive diarrhoea watching this movie in theatres. It was so fucking had it cleared out the entire room. The remaining people were escorted out by security-me included-and were promptly quarantined because of the incredibly high levels of dangerous toxins emitted from the noxious gasses from my rear, and I was promptly banned from the theatre for the rest of my life. I still snuck in anyway. I ate Indian Curry before watching this movie to get the authentic feel, worst mistake of my life.
after i've seen this, i think all 3d animated movies should have out takes ! i missed the out takes of the pixar movies long time ago .... like toy story 1,2 and bugs life. i wonder why they never put out takes on their films nowadays ..
