If you have a Roadtrek 190 and you never use the water heater but you would love to have an onboard retractable barbecue? Will look no further, on this video we will be taking the water heater out of our road track 190 popular and replacing it with a compact barbeque on drawer sliders. Now the barbeque doesn't take a trunk space and lives in the old water heater compartment.

I did the same thing on my C97V200, when I removed the 3 way fridge. I used another 2 burner stove from another trailer with a 12 foot quick release hose. Also installed a cooler/freezer, 3000w inverter, 640ah lithium batteries, and extra drawer in the fridges compartment.

lol, I got a kick out of the spoiler alerts on the epoxy 'filler' on the door panel. Laughing WITH not AT 🤣. Glad I watched to the end, I always had this 'brilliant' idea that I would someday get an adapter for my on-board propane tank to use for outdoor cooking. Yeah ... maybe not! I'm sure if there was a pressure regulator-hose-adapter-thingy that would work, you would (now) know about it.

"You're not the boss of me!" 😂 I had my water heater removed when I first got my '92 RT. They riveted a metal panel over the opening -- I wish I would have kept the door.

While I like your humor and watch your videos mostly just for the entertainment value, I kinda disagree with making so many alterations to your RV. Personally I like mine the way it was manufactured, have done some changes and upgrades but nothing to change the original design or alter how it functions. Personally I chucked my original useless water heater which had leaked out and rotted my floor under the seat and swapped it for a new on demand water heater so I have as much hot water as I want as long as I have full hookups.

if you remove the regulator from the bbq you can just use the low pressure that supplied the water heater. They do not use high pressure that is why there is a regulator.

Wow my 2003 has a BBQ port right on the integrated tank, did you look to see if yours had one? As to removing the hot water heater, not an option for us as we use it all the time.
