The_Jammy this channel is awesome. But I think allot of its charm and humor come from the fact that it's a low budget, amateur, small channel. Allot of channels start out like this. Then when they get big they change. They lose something. I hope that doesn't happen to them.

You pair of cdi's, I'm sitting here, well laying here with two discs hanging out mi spine bouncing on nerves creating the most exquisite pain you can imagine, not knowing if I'm ever gonna ride again, with a L7 1000 sitting in the garage gathering dust begging to be ridden. Aint had fuck all to smile about in what seems like a eternity till you two pop up, i very nearly lol'd, thanks for the past 23 minutes and 54 seconds 👍 now back to the bottle of morphine 😭😭😭

Great start of the series. I've done around 2000 km on 3 cylinders on my S1000R (Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia) in 2015. As it turned out my ignition coil connector came loose and sometimes it "reconnected" which was especially shitty when it happened in corners.

44Teeth, when the ZX7R feels like its running on three you either have an issue with the spark plug boots, a bad spark plug itself, or a loose or corroded connection to the ignition coils. Start by changing the plugs and inspecting the inside of the spark plug boots. I hope you bought some tools with you. 8mm and 10mm sockets with extensions to remove the tank and airbox. :-)

Very true. I doubt they have a gas analyzer with them though. Visual inspection is their best bet. I literally just had the exact same problem and put a video up about it on my channel within the past week or two. I had a defective spark plug boot. Swapped it with a spare and it ran fine. My symptoms were that the bike sounded like it ran on 3 cylinders as soon as it warmed up. The spark plug boot sat loosely on the spark plug because it was missing a metal clamp inside the boot. So when it warmed up and the metal expanded the boot got looser around the plug causing the erratic running. I hope they get it sorted soon.

Turbo329 Sounds like a problem I've been having. Had my ZX7R on the side stand for a long time and it stopped firing on the first cylinder. It's been sat in my garage for almost a year now. I've just taken the carbs off to give them a clean, thinking that might be the problem. Will definitely replace the boot clamp now!

Could simply be the fuel. I had a similar issue with my ZX7R back in 2003 using premium fuel. The additives are great for fuel injected engines but tend to foul the plugs on carbureted bikes. At least that was my experience with the ZXR. Changed the plugs and used standard or 95 octane juice and never had a problem.
