The conversation with your mom in the car was really fun and cute. I'm a Gilmores girl too and it wasn't until maybe my second or third rewatch that I realized the dynamics of this show wouldn't work in a 2023 world or probly anytime after 2015 for that matter. But it is one of the most wholesome shows ever! And for that, Gilmore girls will always be that show and is easily rewatchable at anytime! I'm jealous of first time watchers for that reason😭
@@lgiamYasmine03 Oh good, and your watching it at the right time! Fall season is the best time to watch it. I'm currently rewatching it on Saturdays in the morning when I wakeup with my coffee. Last Saturday, it was a rainy morning and my boyfriend went out for Dunkin Donuts, got me a latte and donut and we sat together and watched 2 episodes, it was one of the most beautiful Saturday mornings I've had ever😭☺️

Gilmore girls is one of my comfort shows and although it doesn’t reflect current times, I’ll rewatch it every fall because of the nostalgic feeling it gives me of when I was in middle school rushing home to watch reruns. I also couldn’t get into The Office but a show with a similar comedic style that I absolutely love is Superstore, highly recommend! Maybe I’ll try The Office again lol Lots of love from LA 🫶🏼

Americans say US or United States 90% of the time too! I hear America more from Europeans and Australians and people in Asia tbh, I told an Australian friend we tend not to say "America" unless it's like a personification of the people ("America's gun problem" "America's war on drugs" "Americans" etc bc it's not actually talking about the land but the people if that makes sense), but US or United States about the land and she was very surprised (she thought it was always America)!

I am just theorizing, but Target in Montreal, maybe it was empty because of the French law, they didn’t take into consideration they would had have to print and resigned all those common products to french, that’s why I think there’s more american snacks in Ontario than Qubec, I use to leave in Gatineau and you really get to see the contrast 😊
