I remember making butter in an after school club when I was 12. We each had a mason jar and cream, and we shook and shook that jar until the butter separated. It took awhile but it was amazing to see the butter appear and it did taste good.
This lady is the real deal! I love love love your cooking videos. You know your stuff & you're an excellent teacher! You made me enjoy cooking at home again. Thanks, Kimmy!!! ♥️🙏
i live in DE and just harvested 180 bulbs of garlic in my little garden. This looks fantastic and I'm going to try this. Last year I made garlic butter, I just roasted the garlic and then mashed them and put them in a jar. I put the jars in the frig. It was ok. This looks so much better. Thanks for sharing.
Before I became allergic to Garlic, I would make this butter and when making biscuits I would put thin slices of the butter onto the dough before folding it.
@@RadgelolLOLno, Cancer treatments left me with an intolerance to sulfur. Depending on the soil, onions and garlic can contain a lot of sulfur. So now I will use herbs, maybe mushroom powder.
I stick of Irish Garlic & Herb @ my local supermkt chain is $3.00 4:50 Not anymore though. Homemade Instruction by Kimmie 😊❤ Genius! No additives or chemicals😊
I've recently gotten into butter making, gonna have to try this out for sure. One thing I do when separating it out from the buttermilk is I put my butter into a few layers of cheese cloth and give it a good bit of squeezing. I find it really helps to make sure I get every bit of the buttermilk out before I rinse.
I just made butter for the first time. So easy. Now I'm gonna try this flavored butter for steak, potatoes, etc. YES..omg it will be delicious. I'm using the buttermilk with ranch powder and marinading it with some chicken. Yum
If you've got a charcoal or pellet grill, try roasting the garlic clove(s) in the grill instead of the oven. It'll give it a wonderful smokey flavor to the garlic.
I was toking and so focused on that heavy cream transforming into butter. I love it! I'm on it!! With so much love respect and support from upstate New York ❤️💜
I love it! Plus you save so much I think because if you bought that amount of butter in the store it'd be waaaay more expensive than a carton of heavy cream!!!
Use this within 1 week and keep refrigerated, butter can and will spoil, but the garlic and herbs will spoil faster. Just my 2 cents, this butter looks amazing, by the way. Shame cream is so damn expensive over here in Japan
