That one edge pen is for comic artists so that way they can add sounds to the comic in a specific kind of style. That's usually the preferred look they go for, but the pen makes it easier so you don't have to bubble up every letter.
8:20 it's used for manga, when you see the text like "pull" "pin" it's that type of pen. The "Thwop" and "Ha~" are used in ✨️spicy✨️ scenes Edit:funny number replies 💀
actually, i draw in traditional too but i find her tutorials and videos really does help me T_T like THANK GOD FINALLY MY DRAWINGS STILL LOOK FINE EVEN AFTER I FLIPPED IT HUHUUUU
I'ma traditional artist, and I gotta say, it's better than digital in one way, cuz your progress won't dissapear sometimes, but I love how colors render digitally, so I'm with both!😀🥰
I have been using Ibis since I was in highschool and NEVER have I known about that water setting, I'm gonna remind my self of this the next time I draw expression with tears!!!😃
I've been using Procreate for 3 years and only now found out about the private photos thing through that video 💀 The tool can be abused by non artists who want to be famous, which is unfortunate. But it can be a very useful tool; sometimes, I want to use several photos of myself doing a certain pose I can't find online, so the reference window alone is not enough. But I have always refused to put the photos on the canvas because it would be awkward to see in a timelapse.
the private layer trick, it actually will help me a ton with using my IRL selfies as pose references. i like to show my timelapse process a lot but i often have to cut my sketching time because there is a full picture of my ugly ass there. 11/10 love it picasso 🥴
Kooleenn your art is amazing but even though this Roasting video is about the roasting and improvement I just wanted t bring that up to make sure you know that :)
As a person who does both traditional and digital art, hearing her roast traditional artists was probably my favorite part of the video. Because everything she said is at least mostly true.
