(Ok, first, I'm not into Bonnie. I like her, wish her best, I think she blasts with Damon and Benzo is OTP but I don't feel her at all, so I might get something wrong) Bonnie is all about grief of some sort and being a witch. It worked kind of odd when all the supernatural world is about magic but the gang has only one witch, that comes from a great bloodline and within few years that witch actually turned upside down half of supernatural world (like dealing with the veil, setting prison world, etc.), like she got it all on her ON HER OWN (btw magic is kind of strange for me in TVDverse). So she should get a magic friend, right? Or a cousin. So she got KAI. And that could work as frenemies like with Damon but then Kai was cut off (worse decision ever) in favor of the rest of heretics but that was kind of too late for that already and Bonnie didn't really like them, I guess? I feel everyone in TVD deserves better, not only Bonnie.

Damon for sure needed elena cause when she was in a coma he was a mess so...

tbh if not stefans obsession with katherine etc at the start, none of this would happend, they all ruined elenas normal life fr and him backing to just stalk her creeps me out💀

Lol it wasn't that deep. They both were immortal and it wasn't like they were running out of time to be with each other. Also Klaus murdered his mother because he managed to break free from the sire bond which had basically made him a slave. Look at it this way - Caroline forced an unnecessary and selfish choice on Tyler who was grieving and deserved to have his revenge and then later slept with the same man who killed Tyler's mom. Caroline lost all of her season 2&3 character development in seasons 5&6 when she turned into a pile of insecurities needed reassurance from the guys that she liked

I would like to speak a word about killing Jenna and Carol, from vampire's perspective (and this is valid for other vamps as well). When you live that long and feed on blood you kill people - over time you get indifferent about who your victim was. Jenna was a collateral damage and he hears about it just because it was someone from Elena's family. Funny thing, nobody seems to remember that Damon killed Zach for no good reason. Who is Zach? He's dead. Get over it. Carol's death. Well, Klaus by all means is a warrior and strategist. He also knows how to make people scared of him. Fear is a powerful tool that stops your enemies and potential enemies from acting against you. And when Klaus came to Mystic Falls he used all that knowledge. Tyler was a cheeky impulsive teenager who thought could win over everyone (and who knows, if he had patience maybe he could). He opposed Klaus from very start, showing him an upcoming challenge. It would be right to refuse to bite Caroline and stay away from her as long as Klaus doesn't change his mind. But he was too reckless and we all know how it ended. Then Tyler ran out of town and broke sire bond of his and his fellows. Klaus many times showed he knew they were plotting against him, they could change plans or take any countermeasures. The conspiracy was planned beforehead and had many elements, so many things could go wrong. When you plan taking out someone so powerful, you come up with as many backup plans as possible. And still you have to think what happens if plan fails (that's what Kathryn did for 500 years and, surprise, it works!). Tyler never for a second considered that option and did nothing to protect his mother (like making her leave the town or just drink vampire blood so she would not die for real). Plan failed and actually Klaus behaved pretty soft, because he killed one person in return, instead of killing all Tyler's friends and family (if not the whole city) and all the wolf pack members of the freed hybrids. It sounds harsh but that's how war looks like. If you start a war you need to accept damage, especially collateral. PS: Tyler overestimated himself and underestimated Klaus' power. Best example: his sneaking at prom. He honestly thought Klaus would not know? Didn't take into consideration that Klaus would be near place Caroline was? And when Tyler got busted he wasn't so sassy any more. Didn't have even courage or dignity to admit it was worth it (maybe at that very moment he thought he wasn't).

About Caroline-Tyler-Klaus triangle, in short. Caroline needed to be loved, cherished, put in the first place. Tyler didn't fuss over making Caroline a Klaus-bait, he literally threw her in Klaus' arms, including fake brake up. And just because thing was real for Klaus, he used every single opportunity to get to know Caroline and be known by her - he always drived the attention on their private lives not supernatural battles. Also there was chemistry between them, other than sensuality she shared with Tyler. Tyler was Caroline's boyfriend for so long just because she had a strong sense of loyalty - and that was the reason why Caroline would ask Klaus over and over for pardon. Caroline needed to feel most important and Klaus was more than willing and able to give her that, while Tyler's whole life became around revenge. Even though Klaus was the most feared vampire ("pure evil" as Damon stated), Caroline always felt safe around him, being off-limits no matter the circumstances. While in the same time Tyler would put her in danger and make her flinch, scared. People are mad because Klaroline had sex like that was the most important factor of this relationship. It wasn't! Klaroline wasn't about put-in's but about bonding and growing together which was happening for half a year, partly in front of Tyler's eyes and with his consent! It wasn't like Klaus killed Carol then went for a stroll and met Caroline and they had sex 🤷🏻‍♀️

True i think tvd writers should have focused more on the fact that tyler (and damon) were both shown sexually assaulting someone and it was NEVER adressed. Also i really hated the klaroline s*x scene cause they really started forming a deep connection and friendship and then they just had s*x and it was over which made caroline seem like a sl*t who sleeps with a guy just because he's hot even though he killed the mother of one of her closest friends. I mean it would be really interesting to see her falling in love with him and frankly way better than one very out of character s*x scene after literally two seasons of build up. Also caroline's whole character development is her becoming confident and strong and getting over her jealousy of elena only for her character to become a replacement for elena for stefan. And last the writers had to have been on crack to think that having Care carry the children of the guy who tortured her and killed her father was a good idea. And that's only the beginning of everything that's wrong with this show. Like i love the characters and the universe but the plot lines sometimes.......

I also wonder why nobody feels bothered that a close friend is literally thrown into arms of a person who is called Pure Evil, even if Caroline didn't want to be the bait. Even her boyfriend didn't mind that much. It was Caroline's luck that Klaus actually liked her and didn't want to use her. 2. I agree-disagree about the scene in the woods. When I first watched TVD years ago I thought the relationship was put to a halt too quickly and just because The Originals came in. When now I watch Klaroline scenes I see everything's there, you just have to read it between the lines. And to be honest, that's one of greatest mistakes of writers, because after Stelena/Delena we are used to ondragging scenes, indecision, choas and drama. The "scene in the woods" for me is poetical and about everything but s** - there is Klaroline fan reaction vod that covers it nicely, it's "ah how happy they met again/ omg I have a heart attack they're kissing/they strip good for them! Klaus came there just to get Caroline's declaration of feelings - he wanted her to be finally honest with him. She technically said she has feelings for him but first she wants to do things she planned, like college. Then she wanted to... Um... Take opportunity since he was to never come back... And she kissed him - and that was romantic kiss! Then they... Um... Couldn't help themselves... It came out naturally, like everything they did together. And when Caroline came back from the woods she was glowing with happiness, the same expression she had when they kissed. So between those two things only good things happened. To be continued...

@@artemis1796 3. I totally agree about Caroline being Elena's replacement. As long as Steroline were friends it was ok, then it was a mess. I think Alaric wasn't quite himself when he killed Bill (Gilbert ring killer?) and then he was changed by Esther. Rick was good for the show just to drink with Damon and get his girlfriends killed. And sometimes he had great lines.
