I've often been accused of having a swinging brick for a heart, but I have a lump in my throat and a tear in my eyes tonight. Well played Rob, well played.
Such a lovely, courageous and marvellous man. Motor Neurone Disease is cruel beyond words to describe and I am so sorry for his family who had to watch his suffering. Nothing I can say is adequate. I am just so very sorry to hear of his passing and send my love to his family and superb fund-raising friends.
Rugby Leagues GOAT is out of pain & has moved onto his after life. So Brave. I liked him a lot. He is the GOAT RL guy cuz he was an average height average wieght guy who ran rings around literal 6ft 4in Hulks.
Rugby union fan here in piece. Sad, sad news to hear Rob burrows has finally left us. Unfortunately it was always going to be this outcome by my god did he fight it with such incredible bravery and dignity. A legend on and off the pitch, I genuinely feel for his family and friends.
RIP Rob. My daughter died last October with MND. Pray a cure is found soon.my condolences to your family & to Kevin Sinfield who has moved us all to tears again & again
I'm not a Rugby League fan, but what a brave guy. Very sad to see someone who achieved what he did as a sportsman decline so quickly. I suppose It's the fragility of the human condition. I always admired Kevin Sinfield running those marathons for his mate. I'm sure he'll be devastated. RIP.
I have watched rob and the late doddie weir in their battles with mnd .. so inspirational and has helped me with my ms. disease.. RIP to rob 🏉❤🤍💙🏴🤝🏻🏴 🕯

Oh man. I didn’t even watch rugby really and I’m sad. My dad used to call him ‘Little Rob Burrow’ whenever he saw him on the tv. He always had a smile on his face despite what he was going through. Rest in paradise Rob, condolences to Lindsey, Macy, Maya and Jackson as well as his parents, Kevin and all those who knew him. What a man, someone I’ll never forget 💗
