I cannot wait to watch this dude in a wolves jersey. I hope we care a little bit less about seeding this year and let him and Terrence Shannon get plenty of run
@@MATT-qu7pl not sure what you mean be careful less about seeding. We should be going out every night with that #1 spot in mind. Sure we can rest Conely and Rudy but everyone else better be ready to play 82.
Getting him in the weight room and teaching him to move his feet on defense. Are two things we should be able to fix. His shooting and playing are things we can’t which is why I love the pick.
With Gobert and McDaniels (even NAW as a quick movements), he's going to get practice shots over tall defenders, and he'll be learning from them too on defense
No one taught him how to play defense...just take a look at the teams that he played with in the past 3 yrs. Finch and his coaching staff will make him serviceable
@@farming4g yeah no doubt he got put in the perfect situation. We have the perfect roster for him. Ant will get him to move those feet. Conely will teach him how to be a pro. Rudy will cover up for any mistakes.
@@gopher4life1 yeah I agree he was in mixtape land at Donda and OTA. He is to quick not not be able to move those feet. Just needs to get one those toes. Finch is gonna get him there and we are good enough where he has to listen and our locker room is prefect for him.
I never realized this... not only with Ant and Mike to mentor him, but also with Gobert and McDaniels, Dillingham will be able to get practice shots up over a big lengthy top level defenders coming into the NBA level.
@@user-yn7no7bn1v LOL. He was a consensus best bucket getter in the draft and you called him soft? On the defensive, he simply doesn't understand the fundamentals and failed miserably, but he is not soft. Finch and his coaches will make him a better defender.
Great stuff Jake. I think Dillingham's NBA comp with Darius Garland is pretty spot on. Size and game are very similar. I'm so pumped that Connolly went out and got a point guard with legit "give me the ball and I'm getting a bucket" potential. 100% what this team needed.
Dilly Dilly to Sota. Love this pick as well. I do see some Darius Garland. I also see some Kyrie Irving, Ja Morant, and Tyrese Maxey in him. They all have the short and skinny aspect as well. If Dilly Dilly can be close to any of those players, this is a home run of a pick!
Which is also why I think fans should be patient with his development. It took garland about three years to come into his own and was at one point considered the worst guard in the NBA.
I loved the breakdown of the pullup 3 off a big man ball screen that both Rob and Ant made. Rudy's screen is devasting. Rob is going to love that space.
Ja is only 5lbs more than Rob. Conley is 10lbs more. JMac was an inch shorter and he would sneak and find passes to intercept. Only Ja has this guys handle or quickness. He is going to bring Showtime to Minny.
@@aaronnoonan1015 I agree he is all had no breaks. But hopefully he want to be more then the Crawford and Monks of the world and want to be more like the Morant’s and Maxey’s. That’s if floor and a ceiling for me which at bad either way.
Dillingham to me looks super intelligent. He sees things on the court like a good pro. I think he will lap up the wisdom from Connolly and Edwards and the other vets on the team. I just hope he can pack on a little muscle mass. Even 180 would help.
What’s the difference between Rob and say…. Trae Young? Is Trae just a better playmaker? Also would still be concerned about those short roll passes going to Rudy and what happens after that. Still very excited to have a potential offensive spark plug!
@@justinthyme3147 Charles Barkley "T-wolves are the dumbest team in the NBA".... they just added another 0 IQ iso dude who dont put effort into okaying defense. Ya can have him. Thank You
No man you got this completely back ass-ward ….Minnesota is the worst place he could have gone , Edwards will undermine and ultimately attempt to destroy him as he( Edwards)is a very bad seed
Huh? Are you in drugs? Minnesota is where winners are made. Lakers were from there and won 6 championships. Majority of the legends in the league have Minnesota roots. You better do your research before making up dumb crap.tp justify your ignorance. Also, the current team could've easily won last season if it weren't for few bad coaching decisions
😂😂😂 Please enlighten me as to the Edward’s being a bad seed. He’s only turned this franchise entirely around in less than 4 years. As far as I can tell, the entire team loves him. I’ll wait for your response
